When God Gives Only Pieces
While I was reading my Bible this morning, I asked The LORD a question about what city He wanted me to live in.
He responded with one specific verse: 1 Corinthians 13:9, which says, “For we know in part and we prophesy in part.”
This was a good reminder for me, since this verse is telling us that God does not show us every little detail about our lives.
This explains why sometimes I ask God about certain things, and I do not receive an answer back.
We do not know everything — we only know parts of things. And we only prophesy the information He gives us.
The Holy Spirit had me read the verse again and then said: “Rarely do I give you the full picture with all the details.”
He also added, “Some things are not for you to know.”
The Holy Spirit will reveal the correct information to us and the right time.
Do not fear, for His timing is perfect!

when this was posted yesterday I had asked God where I’m moving to…. it’s a long drawn out story. I’m tired. I’m ready to move on. to sell the house…but everything has been hidden from me (I’m sure to seeing and hearing a lot) and everything has been a door shut on my face for over a year now. evvvvveerything.
God is forever faithful. God has asked me to Wait several times while I expected to move just like my peers.
But just 2 days ago after reading the word received and posted by Pastor Reinke on HKP titled “I have not forgotten you” then I started to ask God to manifest HIMSELF in my life that I have been waiting on HIM since & it seems like am forgotten. Afterwards, I went to bed that night. And while asleep, a song was raised repeatedly with the stanza “IF YOU GOT JESUS IN YOUR LFE, YOU BETTER BE CAREFUL WITH WHAT YOU SAY! I woke up shocked & asked for the Grace to WAIT upon HIM & be CALM for HIS perfect timing!
I learned again to trust HIM & never to complain or go ahead of HIM! Thanks for posting Sir!
I get this also, I want to know and He says wait and trust.
I agree. I have wanted to know many personal promises for awhile, but I’ve come to know the meaning of patience for His perfect timing.
