Great is Your Faithfulness
“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23 (NKJV).
Dear Ones: Great is Your Faithfulness, Father!
This chapter is filled with the anguished cries of hope for a better day.
Because of the Mercy and Compassion of God, Hope lives in the heart of the writer.
What an example for us today!
The uncertainty and pressure of this time is trying to consume our thoughts with fear.
Fear drives out Hope. If Hope is driven out of our hearts, then Faith has no foundation from which to work.
But The LORD’s Compassion is not affected by the actions of the dark one and his agents.
His Compassion and Mercy are brand new to us every morning. Great is His Faithfulness to those who call upon Him believing He is able to deliver them from evil.
This is a very good verse to sow daily into the soil of your heart. Troubles come because the evil one is good at this job: stealing, killing, and destroying.
But Hope and Faith in the faithfulness of our God is the antidote to all of his attacks.
In fact, our position in Christ gives believers a better covenant than what this Old Testament writer had.
Declare:
LORD, Great is Your Faithfulness to me, my family, and my Nation!
I believe that Your Mercy and Compassion are limitless toward Your children.
With a heart full of gratitude and thanksgiving, I praise Your name and Your steadfast Love.
Have a blessed day as you remember how great is His Faithfulness!
