Hazy summer days
Morning sun cutting through
Sunflowers cheering on:
“A glorious day to behold!”
Towering pines looking on:
“From up here the valley below unfolds!”
Mountain jays hopping to and fro
Landing nimbly from branch to branch
Scouting from trusty lookouts in search of tasty treats
A tweet tweet here!
A tweet tweet there!
All is more than fair
In this serene land He has made!
Hazy summer days
Cool breezes coming from the east
Wind chimes a-chiming
Slow, deep earthly tones
In unison with His Spirit
Dancing in the wind
Morning, noon and evening
Always keeping time
With a hint of heaven’s rhyme:
Hear the angels singing:
“For everything there is a season,.”
All is more than fair
In this serene land He has made!
Hazy summer days
Look here! Look here!
Calling all woodland friends far and near!
Do you see what we see?
An oasis filled with plenty!
Brimming with seed, overflowing with water
Time to refresh!
Time to sip!
Time to take a dip!
So come merrily throughout the day!
Welcomed even are the damselflies on wings!
All is more than fair
In this serene land He has made!

“The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.” Proverbs 10:22.
“He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.” Ecclesiastes 3:11.
“O Lord, how manifold are your works! In wisdom have you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.” Psalm 104:24.
“For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” Colossians 1:16-17.
