His Banner!

“You prepare a Table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. … He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.” Psalm 23:5; Song of Solomon 2:4 (NKJV)
Dear Ones: His Banner!
David’s words are complemented by Solomon’s words that give us a fuller understanding of our Table provisions.
Not only does The LORD provide us with everything we need to defeat our enemies, but He places His Banner over us which signifies His unfailing love.
When a National Flag is planted over a land, it means that the land now belongs to that Nation — and that nation is now committed to defending the land from its enemies.
Therefore, we now understand what Solomon meant by The LORD planting His flag over His beloved ones.
His Table of Provisions for His People is protected by His immutable love. Since God is Love, then Love’s power is almighty.
It is a good day to rejoice in the fact that His Banner or Flag is planted in the soil of our hearts.
Keeping this revelation fresh in our souls helps us to walk through the daily trials we face.
Romans 8:31, AMP, confirms to us, “What then shall we say to all these things? If God is for us, who can be [successful] against us?”
Hence, we are more than conquerors through Christ whose flag over us is love.
Declare:
“His Banner over me is Love, as I partake of the ample provisions of His Table.
It is a good day to be thankful for His abundant blessings and covering of love over myself, my family, and my Nation.
Praise The LORD!”
Have a blessed day in Jesus’ name.
