His Transcendent Love Draws Us Into Worship
As I completed my worship session with The LORD I heard, “Transcendent Love!
My Transcendent Love draws you; reveals you; frees you, and heals you.”
Transcendent: Going beyond. Surpassing natural limitations. Above all else. A spiritual state of being that is independent of the confines of the natural realm.
Worship
As I began my worship time with The LORD, my heart and soul were so thirsty for the nearness of His Presence, and the beauty of His touch in my spirit and soul.
The music began, and it was as if I stepped up and into His Transcendent Presence.
I could feel His “spirit touch” lifting off the weariness in my soul and body, drawing me into the reality of His nearness.
I so long for these times of refreshing where everything else fades into the background, and I can just draw close to His heart as I magnify Him in worship.
Vision: Terebinth Tree and Bubbling Brook
As I continued in worship and gentle adoration, The LORD unfolded a vision in front of me.
It was so beautiful and real that the even though I was indoors, I felt as though I was immediately translated to the outdoors.
The sunlight and shadows in the vision were precisely coordinated with where the actual sunlight was in the morning sky outside in that moment.
In the vision, I could feel and see a massive Terebinth tree just in front of me and to the right. I “stepped into the scene before me.”
Sunlight was dancing on the leaves as the giant tree sheltered me in its beautiful, expansive shade. I could feel my lungs filling with the healing air that it released.
Just off to the left I could see a bright, flowing stream of living water bubbling along, reflecting and releasing the glorious rays of sunlight to any who would stop and draw near.
I could see that I was personified as a young girl in the vision, with a bucket in my hands.
Coming alongside the stream, I was so happy to walk and skip alongside the gentle, playful flow.
As I walked, I felt an invitation to draw near, and stopped at a welcoming little spot. Bending down beside the brook, I saw a reflection of myself in the dancing waters.
I looked again, and there with a startle of joy, I realized that The LORD Jesus was also in the reflection, embracing me in His beautiful smile.
In the mirror of the waters I felt His love and acceptance so poignantly, freeing me from any disparaging, negative thoughts, allowing me to be quieted in His love.
Deep within my soul, I could feel the gentle healing of this love begin to dissipate anything that was hard, harsh or pressing in my thoughts.
Then, feeling the refreshing of His presence, I began to become more aware of the activity of the brook itself. As I listened to the moving waters, and watched the interplay of effervescent light upon the waters, it was like a joyful melody that I wanted to have within me all day long.
I twirled with joy, and then skimmed the top of the water’s surface, scooping up a bucket of the water, delighted that it was so effortless.
It was all so freeing…. I knew that as I both partook, and gave the waters away, they would be immediately replenished throughout the day the moment I reflected upon this time and place.
This vision faded, and I was left enveloped in gentle gratitude, a deep sense of The LORD’s peace and joy filling me.
As I “came back” into my worship moment I felt again my heart responsive to The LORD, my thoughts quieted, burdens lifted, anticipating what He would speak to me.
Unpacking the Vision
Dear ones, there can be so much that our LORD reveals in a simple vision.
As we draw near, and lean in, The Holy Spirit has us notice the elements set before us, and then instructs us as to their meaning, leading us into the scriptures that then become the Living Word to our spirit and soul.
The Terebinth Tree
Sacred spaces; Divine Encounters; Strength, Stability and Protection; Healing Balm of Gilead; Divine Restoration and Intervention.
- The terebinth tree holds great cultural and spiritual significance in the Bible, being mentioned over 25 times and associated with sacred spaces and divine encounters.
- The tree symbolizes strength, stability, and protection, representing the presence of God and His power and authority.
- The terebinth tree is believed to possess healing properties, with its resin, known as balm of Gilead, used for medicinal purposes and offering relief and restoration.
- Numerous biblical references to the terebinth tree highlight its prominence in important events and stories with significant theological themes, emphasizing its connection to divine intervention and restoration.

The Gentle, Flowing Waters
These represent His Living waters that flow from the very throne of God to each of us, refreshing our spirit-man, then flowing from within us to others as we partake of the spiritual nourishment of The LORD.
The gentle flowing waters were bubbling; they were “dancing with delight”…reflecting the glory of the sunlit day. All of creation is longing for it to be “on earth as it is in Heaven” responding and manifesting praise to our LORD and GOD!
Rivers and Streams of His Presence
“O God, how extravagant is your cherishing love! All mankind can find a hiding place under the shadow of your wings. All may drink of the anointing from the abundance of your house. All may drink their fill from the rivers of Eden. The fountain of life flows from you to satisfy me. In your light of holiness we receive the light of revelation. Lord, keep pouring out your unfailing love on those who are near you. Release more of your blessings to those who are loyal to you.” Psalm 36:7-10 TPT.
“Those who believe in Me [who cleave to, trust in and rely on Me] as the Scripture has said, From their innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water,” John 7:38 AMPC personalized.
“God has a constantly flowing river whose sparkling streams bring joy and delight to his people. His river flows right through the city of God Most High, into his holy dwelling places. God is in the midst of his city, secure and never shaken. At daybreak His help will be seen with the appearing of the dawn.” Psalm 46:4-5 TPT.
As a Young Child
This is how we must come to receive from the Kingdom realm- “as a little child”… trusting, pure, and expectant of The LORD’s Graces to us.
“Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive and accept and welcome the kingdom of God like a little child [does] positively shall not enter it at all. And He took them [the children up one by one] in His arms and [fervently invoked a] blessing, placing His hands upon them.” Mark 10:15-16 AMPC.
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven…. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” Matthew 5:3,8 NKJV.
“You have made known to me the ways of life; You will enrapture me [diffusing my soul with joy] with and in Your presence.” Acts 2:28 AMPC.
A Serious Pursuit of His Heart Prepares us to Hear
While some of this may sound a little light-weight… there is actually nothing more important than a serious pursuit of nearness to The LORD.
It is in this deep, intimate rapport that He shares the secrets of His heart, readying us for His purposes in and through us- to those around us.
“The secret [of the sweet, satisfying companionship] of The LORD have they who fear (revere and worship) Him, and He will show them His covenant and reveal to them its [deep, inner] meaning.” Psalms 25:14 AMPC.
While these are precious times of leaning into His heart, they are also necessary times that build and strengthen our personal relationship with Him, honing our spiritual senses, and preparing us to hear His appointed tasks, and to pray and decree and the Word that He sends forth.
Time For The Nations
In this window of time The LORD also spoke, “It’s TIME for the Nations” and “The fountains of the deep are opening; brace for impact.”
Reading a little further in Psalms 46, this is what He emphasized:
“When The Nations are in uproar with their tottering kingdoms, God simply raises His voice, and the earth begins to disintegrate before Him.
Here He comes! The Commander!
The mighty LORD of Angel Armies is on our side!
The God of Jacob fights for us!
Pause in his presence… Surrender your anxiety.
Be still and realize that I AM God.
I AM God above all the nations, and I am exalted throughout the whole earth.” Psalm 46:6-7;10 TPT.
In the Amplified Version:
“Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth!” Psalms 46:10 AMPC.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful vision, teaching and encouragement. Your expression of adoration and encounter provokes me to jealousy. It stirs up a hunger and thirst I didn’t know existed to get to know the Father’s heart in a deeper, practical and profound way.
Dear Shelley,
What a truly wonderful vision! Oh and so confirming, too! The LORD recently gave me a psalm about being like a child again and then a few days ago, while at the lake with my family, He gave me an invitation to be a child again: to play in the water and make mud pies with “blueberries” (rocks) in them! Lol I know it sounds silly but He was teaching me just to be like a child again. Thank you for sharing this gentle and heartfelt post! Much love to you!

Thank you for sharing dear Gabrielle!
and thank you for your heart inspiring work!
Before I went into counselling and pastoring, I was a teacher…My very favorite position was as a Kindergarten teacher. It was there that the LORD gave me the foundational blueprint for my work with people:
Love, Safety, Peace, Belonging and “Wings to Fly”…
Love and Blessings
Vision Addendum:
When I was in worship again today, the LORD took me into the vision again.
Sunlight poured out through the giant trees that were to the left and right of the little girl.
The water was bright with dancing glory light, and much higher than the banks as if it was joining with a luminescent substance from Heaven….It didn’t overflow the banks…It was communicating the life and light from Heaven!
The little girl was there again, ready to receive with delight in her heart, and gently swinging the bucket in her hands.
I saw the little girl up close:
~She had thick hair that came to the top of the shoulder… (Hair: signifies our “inner glory” before both man and God)
~She was wearing a soft burgundy-rose sweater. (New wine)
~There was a small circular badge over her heart on the sweater. It was a picture of helping hands.
~She had on simple soft indigo jeans. (Indigo is the color of revelation knowledge, and also the color that represents the Melchizedek priesthood.)
I love the emphasis on “simplicity” and “delight”…May we be those servants that love and adore our Beloved LORD with simple, purity of heart -ever ready to do as He bids with JOY!
PRAISE GOD!!! BEAUTIFUL, thank you for sharing.
Thank you dear Sherry for your encouragement…I love looking to see some of those who I now recognize as “regulars”…Lifting you up to the wonders of His Presence and the nearness of His love.
