How Do You Hear — and How Will You Judge a Matter?
How Do You Hear….. and How Will You Judge a Matter?
As I took a concern up to Father, He spoke to my heart:
“How will you judge a matter My Child?
Will it be with the seeing of your eyes and the hearing of your ears?
I want you to listen deeper… and “know” by My Spirit.”
The situation unfolding before me is inconvenient at best, there are many “moving parts” and someone who is stuck in a very limited mindset, blocking the progress.
I have a choice to make in this situation: will I deal with the matter from “my soul gate”where feelings reign, with the limitations of an earthly mindset, and a perspective of “being inconvenienced”…. or will I yield to The Spirit to rule over my soul?
Will I allow offence, correction, and impatience to act as low level “judges” in the matter, or I will I choose to go higher to where I am seated with Christ to bring the influence of Holy Spirit to bear on the matter.
Quite simply, will I empower the righteousness of the Spirit or the personal preference of my soul?
The Peace of Christ — Gentleness of way… — and pursuit of Understanding…
I quickly choose to dismiss judgements and offence that want to creep into my thinking, and ask The LORD to carry away any of the debris of self-serving thought from my thinking.
I want to approach the matter with the peace of Christ ruling in my heart and thoughts; gentleness in my way, and understanding as an “olive branch” to the other party.
May my goal always be to find the heart of the matter, and the best way to deal with a person or a circumstance by taking the time to view it from Heaven’s Perspective.
My inner response to The LORD as the Holy Spirit is guiding my thoughts, “Ah LORD Jesus … It is only when we bring the issue up to your heart, and submit our own selves to both your scrutiny and loving gaze, that we will judge a matter rightly…
There is a clarity and depth of Wisdom that comes only by your Spirit.
This is what is needed, to lead by example and in love in order to move the person before us into a greater awareness of themselves, and an understanding of the lesser soul dynamics at play so that each of us may come into true submission to the plumb line of Heaven.”

Tuning Fork
Submitting our Hearts to the *Tuning Fork of the Holy Spirit… finding the balance… the “perfect tension” between Truth and Love…
*Tuning Fork : “Pianos lose their tuning, guitars fall out of key — even church organs need to be tuned every now and then. For centuries, the only sure-fire way to tell if an instrument was in tune was to use a tuning fork: A two-pronged, all-metal device the length of a butter knife. Simple to make and easy to use, tuning forks guaranteed 100 percent pitch accuracy. In antique shops today, you can find 300-year-old tuning forks that emit notes just as clear and crisp as the day they were made.” Tristin Hopper, ©Howstuffworks.com
Sometimes as leaders we rush too quickly into a situation in order to assert our “justified position,” immediately bringing a tone of correction to perceived wrongs.
What is needed however, is to first walk circumspectly around the issue with Holy Spirit, seeking the heart, and deeper thoughts of The LORD on the matter, so as to come into an understanding of the dynamics at play in the situation.
How often does offence, hurt, or inconvenience stand in our soul gate and block our Heavenly Vision?
Loving and wise leadership has an embrace for the whole… as well as the individually functioning parts.
When we bring our own thoughts under the tempering of Father’s gaze, like the blacksmith, He allows us to be forged in His Holy fires to prove* our vessel yet again.
To ‘prove’* : To try by experiment, or by a test or standard; test; make trial of; put to the test: as, to prove the strength of a (metal); to prove the contents of a vessel by comparing it with a standard measure. (©Wordnick)
He who has ears to hear… let Him hear by The Spirit..
The Amber Breakfast Room: Commune
Communing in that beautiful place with Father God this morning… with Him in the “Amber Breakfast Room” of “Presence.”
Morning delight fills my soul and spirit! My heart echoing the truth of Psalm 145:2 bursts within me, “ ‘Everyday has New Reasons for Joy’ and how I thank you for that Father!”
I love these pockets of extended time where I can step away from the cares of the world and lean deeply into His heart, and the counsel of His thoughts…
I hear Him speak to me, “Come let us reason together…!”
This is where He sends forth His Good Spirit to me, the Spirit of Counsel, Wisdom and Understanding.
Here I wait on Him, enfolding my thoughts into His, by the leading of The Word as He gives me more thorough understanding for some of the situations that I have been mulling over in my week…. and then for the issues that may arise in the week to come.
Let the Word Work
I quietly, and with deepest reverence and awe, come into the Counsel of The LORD, allowing His Good Spirit to lead me.
I wait for His “preceding Word” to come to my heart-thoughts so that I might have a more complete understanding of things.
I do not want to be reactionary, or judge a matter prematurely from the soul.
It is important that we allow the Eternal Word to work in each and every situation.
This Living Word is what the Holy Spirit uses to train our thinking and renew our minds.
The LORD’s Wisdom is all encompassing and His Word — living and active, capable to judge every matter with the precision that divides soul from Spirit.
“For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12 AMPC.
“So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11 AMPC.
Wise Leadership
“Good leadership is built on love and truth, for kindness and integrity are what keep leaders in their position of trust.” Proverbs 20:28 TPT.
A wise man scales the city walls of the mighty and brings down the stronghold in which they trust.
“He who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps himself from troubles.” Proverbs 21:22-23 AMP.
The Principle thing… Wisdom and Understanding…
“There is no [human] wisdom or understanding or counsel [that can prevail] against The LORD.” Proverbs 21:30 AMP.
“My (child), if you will receive my words and treasure up my commandments within you,
Making your ear attentive to skillful and godlyWisdom and inclining and directing your heart and mind to understanding [applying all your powers to the quest for it]; yes, if you cry out for insight and raise your voice for understanding,
If you seek [Wisdom] as for silver and search for skillful and godly Wisdom as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the reverent and worshipful fear of The LORD and find the knowledge of [our omniscient] God.
For The LORD gives skillful and godly Wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.” Proverbs 2:1-6 AMP.
Filled with the anointing of the Seven-Fold Spirit of God… He (foretelling of The LORD Jesus Christ), did not judge by what He saw, but by The Spirit within…
“And shall make Him of quick understanding, and His delight shall be in the reverential and obedient fear of The LORD. And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, neither decide by the hearing of His ears; but with righteousness and justice shall He judge the poor and decide with fairness for the meek, the poor, and the downtrodden of the earth….” Isaiah 11:3-4a AMPC.
When we love Him…
“Every day [with its new reasons] will I bless You [affectionately and gratefully praise You]; yes, I will praise Your name forever and ever.” Psalm 145:2 AMPC.
“The person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I [too] will love him and will show (reveal, manifest) Myself to him. [I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him.]” John 14:21 AMPC.
