I Have Heard Your Prayer
This is for someone today:
I heard, “I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. I will surely heal you!”
“Beloved,
There are seasons when the weight you carry settles deep into your bones.
The battle has been long.
The questions have lingered.
The answers have seemed delayed.
You have whispered prayers in the daytime and cried them again in the night watches when no one else knew.
Yet I would have you know this today:
I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears.
Not one sigh has escaped My notice.
Not one trembling request has fallen to the ground unheard.
Not one tear has slipped down your face without being collected by My loving hand.
You have wondered at times if your prayers were reaching Heaven.
You have wondered if I saw the weariness that settled upon your heart
And the discouragement that sometimes visited your thoughts
You feel as frail as a flower drooping beneath the heat of a relentless sun.
But My child, I saw it all.
I saw the prayer you prayed and then prayed again.
I saw the courage it took to keep believing.
I saw the faith hidden beneath your questions.
I saw the hope that flickered like a candle refusing to go out.
And now I speak to you as I spoke to Hezekiah:
“I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. I will surely heal you.”
The very places that feel weak to you are not hidden from Me.
I am the God who sends rain to the thirsty ground.
I am the God who revives what appears wilted.
I am the God who restores strength to what has become weak.
Even your bones
the deepest places of your being,
the very foundation of your strength
are known to Me.
I know where the ache resides.
I know where sorrow has lingered.
I know where disappointment has left its mark.
I know your trauma
I know the pain.
I have not turned away. I am drawing near.
My healing is not merely for your body,
but for your heart,
your mind,
your spirit,
your hope, and
your joy.
The enemy would have you focus on your weakness.
I invite you to focus on My Strength.
The enemy points to your frailty.
I point to My Faithfulness.
The enemy counts the tears.
I count the promises.
My promises are greater than your pain.
So rest, Beloved.
You do not have to earn My compassion.
I am the Father of all Compassion
I heard you before the prayer was prayed.
I comforted you while the tears were still falling.
Lift your eyes again.
Take My hand again.
Hope again.
For the God who has heard your prayer is the same God who is moving on your behalf.
The God who has seen your tears is the God who is drawing near to heal, restore, strengthen, and comfort.
You are not forgotten.
You are not overlooked.
You are not alone.
I have heard your prayer.
I have seen your tears.
I will surely heal you.
Before you call, I will answer;
While you are still speaking, I will hear.
Only Believe.
For I AM close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit.”
“The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18.
“Before they call, I will answer; while they are still speaking, I will hear.” Isaiah 65:24.
“Go back and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people that this is what the LORD, the God of your father David, says: ‘I HAVE HEARD YOUR PRAYER; I HAVE SEEN YOUR TEARS. I WILL SURELY HEAL YOU. On the third day from now you will go up to the house of the LORD.” 2 Kings 20:5.
“Be merciful to me, O LORD, for I am frail; heal me, O LORD, for my bones are in agony. My soul is deeply distressed. How long, O LORD, how long?” Psalm 6:2-3.
“I am Frail” : The Hebrew word used for “weak” or “faint” originally describes a plant drooping from drought, representing the toll of deep grief, physical illness, or spiritual distress.
“Bones are Vexed/ Agony” : In the Old Testament, the bones represent the core of a person’s strength and vitality. Describing them as “troubled” or “in agony” highlights the severity of his suffering.
