If You Appreciate God Your Life Will Appreciate!
Thanksgiving is so important to God that it is the first thing He requires from our hands when we approach Him.
“Enter His Gates with thanksgiving, || His courts with Praise, || Give thanks to Him, bless His Name.” Psalm 100:4 LSV.
A great, insidious temptation by Satan is to make one look at what God has not yet done rather than what He has already done!
God has done SO MUCH for us, brethren. God has done much more than enough for us.
Oh, let us count our blessings and give thanks to God our Father and The LORD Jesus our Saviour. Let us give thanks to The Holy Spirit for all His daily Help to us in our walk in Christ.
Let us count our blessings as we count down to the end of the year.
The countdown to the end of 2025 is down to hours now, but our thanksgiving must count up.
I overheard a statement the other day by a speaker during a live televised praise and worship event organised by a Ghanaian member of parliament. He said:
“If you appreciate God, your life will appreciate.“
Oh how so very TRUE!
That’s exactly what happened to the one foreigner who returned to give thanks to our Great God and Saviour Jesus Christ after he and nine others had been healed of leprosy right in the process of obeying The LORD’s Instruction.
The one foreigner (a Samaritan)’s life literally appreciated when he appreciated God.
Luke reported what happened.
‘Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have Mercy on us!” So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His Feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan. So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give Glory to God except this foreigner?” And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your Faith has made you well.‘ ” Luke 17:11-19.
When the one foreigner saw only one thing God had done for them, and he alone returned to God, giving Him thanks, God did more for him.
Giving thanks to God makes Him give you more.
Really and truly, when you appreciate God, your life will appreciate.
No matter what happened in 2025, give thanks to God our Saviour that you are alive and in Christ. That you have Eternal Life. That you have God Almighty: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.
THANK GOD FOR HIS SON JESUS!
THANK GOD FOR THE NAME OF JESUS!
THANK GOD FOR THE BLOOD OF JESUS!!!!!
THANK GOD FOR HIS HOLY SPIRIT!
THANK GOD FOR GOD!
Do you really know what it means to have God? To have JESUS!?
It is compositely Deliverance from the captivity of Satan into The Kingdom of CHRIST!
There are billions of people locked up right now in hell in the unbearable torment of Everlasting Fire, FOREVER! They will NEVER come out! And there are many more falling into hell right now as you read this.
But WE (who believe and obey Jesus) are saved from eternal destruction!
This ALONE is much more than enough reason to continually give thanks to God for.
We must daily deeply bear this in mind,
“giving thanks to The Father Who has qualified us to be partakers of The Inheritance of the saints in The Light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into The Kingdom of The Son of His Love, “” Colossians 1:12-13.
Our focus should always mainly be on The Immeasurable Treasure of Eternal Life God has given us.
“If in this life only we have Hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.” 1 Corinthians 15:19.
Our Possession is God Himself, not just the temporary things of this life.
As He has said, “…I AM your Shield, your exceedingly Great Reward.” (Genesis 15:1).
Surely, there are numerous other reasons and things to thank God for.
As the count-down to the end of the year progresses, let there be the count-up of thanksgiving in our hearts and on our lips to God our Saviour.
“Through Him, then, we may always offer up A Sacrifice of Praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips, giving thanks to His Name.” Hebrews 13:15 LSV.
“Rejoice in The LORD, O you righteous! For Praise from the upright is beautiful.” Psalm 33:1.
We are beautified by our beautiful Praise to God.
Thanksgiving is Praise!
“Oh, give thanks to The LORD, for He is good! For His Mercy endures forever. Let the redeemed of The LORD say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy” Psalm 107:1-2.
“Oh, give thanks to The LORD, for He is good! For His Mercy endures forever.” Psalm 118:1.
“The LORD Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.” 2 Timothy 4:22.
“Farewell” Acts 15:29.
~ Jacob Addison Awagah
Jacob, an apostle of JESUS CHRIST by The Will of GOD, according to The Promise of Life Which is in CHRIST JESUS, (2 Timothy 1:1).
Like John, I like to put my head to The Heart of JESUS so as to know and do His Will always. What’s in His Heart is what matters now and FOREVER. His Heart’s Desire is my only desire. My will is to do His Will.
As John was, I am the disciple whom JESUS loves. And like Paul, I am “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS” (Ephesians 3:1) for His Purpose forever: to obey Him always.
NB. Surely, the disciple whom JESUS loves and “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS”, like ALL The Promises of GOD, are available to every believer to obtain, just as John and Paul did.
“And having been perfected, He [JESUS] became The Author of Eternal Salvation to all who obey Him,” Hebrews 5:9.

Lovely..so true..thank you.
