Intercessors: We Must Never Let Our Guards Down!

Watchman on the walls we must stay on our post!
“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” 1 Thessalonians 5:3.
It is very good to rejoice of all the victories with Israeli hostages being released!
Just one i.e. here: This man many of us had watched as Hamas had made him digging his own grave. It’s a miracle he is even alive!
Many of us interceded in prayer for him and the rest of the hostages to be released.
We are sure very thankful to God for using President Donald J. Trump, Benjamin Netanyahu and countless others.
Still our focus should be returning all the glory to the Lord Jesus Christ!
Also, it should go without saying we should grieve with the ones not coming back alive.
Now again, as intercessors we must never let our guards down.
While I love this temporary peace it will not last forever! It is not the scriptures.
“And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.” Zechariah 12:3.
Getting back: I never want to pray against the will of the Lord.
Still, we know some things may can be offset or even stopped by prayer.
I close today with the above admonitions.
Let’s stay on our watches, and see what our God will do.
I believe in angel armies all around us!
God bless you all.
“And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;” Luke 18:1.

Amen!
Amen Pamie. To God be all the glory indeed! Good comment of ‘shields up’. I thought of the scripture about above all for us to take the shield of faith. That will sure quench all the fiery darts of the enemy! Blessings and peace as we travel homeward, Joyce ❤️
I appreciate your comment Jennifer. I believe we did get to feel a part of their pain. Still joy with many! It was also grievous knowing some wont even have a body to bury. Blessings to you my sister. ❤️
Joyce, very true Words. Yes, my heart sunk a bit for the relatives of those who are not coming back. It’s as if I felt their heartache. Blessings.
I totally agree and I know that everyone had been praying for 2 years for these hostages like I have to be released. First thing I did was look up and say My God you get all the credit the Glory is Yours and we cannot put our guard down for a moment we are in the end times and Israel is hated so I would say SHIELDS UP! Blessings
