It Seem Like the Poor Suffer the Most
Why does it seem like the poor suffer the most?
Why are atrocities almost always buried in the slums, villages, and forgotten corners of the world while the rich and powerful live untouched?
Because we live in a world where power protects itself — and systems have been built to devour the weak. But God sees!
I believe that many Nations, Governments and individuals will be and are under Judgement because of how they treat the poor and marginalized.
The poor has become a prey and it is nothing new. It is the fruit of systems built on greed, corruption, and lawlessness, all of which are fueled by demonic strongholds.
“Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain” Ezekiel 22:27.
“You have condemned and murdered the righteous person. He does not resist you.” James 5:6.
“This is what the LORD says: “For three sins of Israel, even for four, I will not relent. They sell the innocent for silver, and the needy for a pair of sandals. They trample on the heads of the poor as on the dust of the ground and deny justice to the oppressed.” Amos 2:6-7.
Sodom Was Judged not Just for Sexual Sin, But for Oppression!
“Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fullness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.” Ezekiel 16:49.
Sodom’s pride and neglect of the poor provoked God’s wrath just as much as immorality did.
There’s an indictment against Israel for Social Injustice!
Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail, saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit? That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat? The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works.” Amos 8:4-7.
The Most High declares explicitly He remembers injustice against the poor and will respond with judgment, famine, and silence.
Yeshua’s Sheep and Goats Judgment Was Based on the Poor!
“Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me!” Matthew 25:45.
“All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.” Matthew 24:32-33.
Nations (goat or sheep) (vs32-33) are separated based on how they treated the hungry, thirsty, naked, sick, and imprisoned. (See Matthew 24:31-46)
The evidence is clear …..
Colonial powers enriched themselves by draining poor Nations. Many are now spiritually barren or in decline.
Global systems that manipulate food, medicine, and economics to keep developing Nations dependent, are building up wrath.
Modern cities which spend billions on entertainment — while their homeless die on the streets — will answer to God!
Nations that indulge in modern slavery, exploit and ignore the cries of the needy, neglect widows, orphans, and the broken will come under the weight of divine justice, unless they repent and corrupt systems will be dismantled.
The whirlwind of God’s Justice and Judgement, is stirring!
It is time that The Church arise and not be silent to social injustice, instead if warring against each other! Stand in the gap for — and make supplication for the needy!
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. (James 1:27)
O Righteous Judge, open the books of The Nations!
Let the cries of the poor be remembered before Your Throne.
Judge the wicked who devour the needy.
Break the teeth of unjust systems.
Raise up voices from the ash heap poor but rich in spirit to declare Your Kingdom.
Let righteous rulers arise.
Let the true church awaken.
Let justice roll like a river and righteousness like a mighty stream.
In Yeshua’s Name.
Shalom

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Re 2:8 ¶ And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
Re 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
Re 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Re 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
Yes, let’s cry out for God’s help for the poor and needy.
Amen…..God watches, knows and will judge…
Great post, thanks!
Amen.
