“Benaiah was the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man from Kabzeel, who had done many deeds. He had killed two lion-like heroes of Moab. He also had gone down and killed a lion in the midst of a pit on a snowy day,” 1 Chronicles 11:22.

Benaiah killed that lion in a pit. This lion was mad and trapped and on top of it all, it was snowing. That meant the visibility was less and made the circumstances more difficult.

You may be trapped in that pit today feeling no way out.

Trouble seems to be falling all around you like a heavy snow. You have the devil in one dark corner trying to make sure you don’t get out of this place.

He wants you to stay stuck fighting with him, a lion that is prowling for your soul and out for blood.He wants your visibility of the One you know will bring you out to be blurred.

Don’t buy it!

Just like Benaiah, you can slay this lion.

Even in the snow slipping and battling the cold with even more reduced, blurred visibility, look up and trust the real Lion, The Lion of the Tribe of Judah and take up your sword.

Slay the beast and rise out of this pit, Victorious Warrior!
