Shalom dear Friend,
Our fervent prayer is that The LORD of Mercy would grant a delay of His righteous judgment upon the United States of America and the nations, for the sake of Israel, as He once did for the Kingdom of Judah.
During the reign of King Josiah, The LORD proclaimed judgment upon Judah:
“Thus says The LORD: “Behold, I will bring calamity on this place and on its inhabitants, all the curses that are written in the book which they have read before the king of Judah.” 2 Chronicles 34:24.
However, because King Josiah heeded the warning of The LORD in humility and with much weeping, The LORD heard his cry and granted a delay in judgment:
“Surely I will gather you to your fathers, and you shall be gathered to your grave in peace; and your eyes shall not see all the calamity which I will bring on this place and its inhabitants.” 1 Chronicles 34:28.
While The LORD would not altogether relent from His proclaimed judgment on the land and its people, it would not come to pass during the King’s lifetime.
An entire land and people were spared on account of one man!
Our prayer at this time is that The LORD would also delay the coming judgment upon the land of America and its inhabitants on account of one man, a chosen leader that would heed the warnings of The LORD in humility.
May The LORD work a miracle in our time and appoint Donald Trump, who is for The LORD, pro-Christian, pro-Israel, and pro-Life, to serve a second term as President of the United States — even at a time when all hope seems lost!
The disciples of Jesus, believing that He was the Son of God, were so sure that Jesus would not be crucified. However, God allowed the evil to go its full course and only after 3 days — when all hope was gone — Jesus rose from the dead.
In the same way I was reminded, by reading a message of Pastor Daniel Nalliah, that the people had begged The LORD to heal Lazarus immediately. But it was not the time for Jesus to go, and Lazarus died and was placed in the tomb. Four days later, Martha exclaimed:
“Lord, if you had arrived on time, Lazarus would still have been alive.” John 11:21 NKJV.
And yet, even in her defeat, she displayed her faith:
“But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give to You.” John 11:22 NKJV.
“…..Then Jesus went to the tomb and spoke: “Lazarus come forth.”” John 11:43b NKJV.
Then Lazarus came out of the tomb alive! So what would bring greater glory to God, to heal Lazarus on his sickbed or raise him up from the dead when all hope was gone?
Our Father wanted Jesus to raise him up in this way, so that the people would know that truly He is the Resurrection and the Life.
In the same way, even though the ceremony with President elect Joe Biden might be held, and humanly speaking all hope may be lost, Our Father in Heaven still has the final say on the matter. For The LORD appoints leaders and not man!
“For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.”
Romans 13:1b NKJV.
“But God is the Judge: He puts down one, And exalts another.” Psalm 75:7 NKJV.
Therefore let us pray and ask our heavenly Father for beautiful trusting faith in Him, as expressed by Martha above.
Let us keep standing on His Word and never give up!
