Don’t Envy Someone Else’s Anointing!
Don’t envy someone else’s anointing — you don’t know the weight they carry!
Many admire the visible results of someone else’s gift or calling, whether it’s prophetic accuracy, deliverance power, or ministry influence — but few understand the private pain, warfare, and sacrifice behind it!
“To whom much is given, much is required.” Luke 12:48.
The Gifts come freely, but the Anointing is cultivated in the Fire through Trials, Obedience, and often Isolation.
You don’t know what they had to endure to carry it.
any have faced betrayal, rejection, spiritual attacks, and intense refining to walk in their assignment.
Why no one should envy another person’s gift:
- The warfare attached to their anointing is often unseen.
Ephesians 6:12 reminds us that our battle isn’t flesh and blood — those truly anointed are constantly in spiritual contention.
- Gifts and callings are distributed by God’s wisdom!
“But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.” Corinthians 12:11.
Your assignment is uniquely tailored for You!
Envy only blinds you from discovering your own purpose.
Anointing is for Service, not show!
True anointing is not about status — it’s about being broken enough for God to flow through you without resistance.
So before you envy someone’s platform or power, remember:
- You weren’t there for their wilderness
- You didn’t see their breaking
- You didn’t feel their pressing
- You didn’t cry their tears
Instead of envying, honor the grace and ask God to prepare you for your assignment.
You don’t need someone else’s Mantle — you need to walk in the oil God has assigned to you.
There’s a cost for the oil.
Will you pay it?

hatred even self hatred can be the root of slander, slander meaning not being humble to be content with how God has chosen you to be and for your calling in Your walk with Him. something ive discovered if you come to the end of yourself surrender want God and to like God above all else the impulse to envy others dies. Great word thankyou. [some may need to stop applying for Gods job and accept submit be content and stop striving/envying it makes one miserable for sure. lol.]

Such a great word! Thank you
SUCH a powerful and important word…
Very. Very true…
The cost is high for the precious anointing of His Presence….
Many years in the wilderness…as He burns off the dross and purifies the heart and soul
so that fear of man is totally dissolved and all that remains is a Holy fear of God
and loving Awe of His Presence…
Love and blessings dear one
Grace and Favor as you pursue His heart
His manifold blessings of wisdom upon you!
Holy Fire fall!
