My Testimony About Change
I want to testify to you that I have been saved since I was twelve years old, and, now I am eighty three.
I was called to Preach The Gospel at age of seventeen, vocally by The LORD.
I went out and have preached for many years in Churches across America.
I remember how I was a slick preacher and even thought I knew it all and was totally right.
Oh I was so smart!
But, in 1999 I had a God Encounter here in this desert of New Mexico which has changed my life forever.
Many things I had been taught in the denomination [Bible school training] The LORD told me were wrong. I was forced to change many of my beliefs.
I was a Baptist, and I attended a Baptist school of training.
I had to change some of my beliefs. It was not easy, and I did have to repent, and turn around to preach The Truth.
You must know I had to admit I had been wrong and preached wrong doctrine.
Today I am a non denominational, Spirit-filled Believer.
I do not hate the Baptist, but am thankful for them today, because I was saved and came to know The LORD in a Baptist Church in Texas.
But I am not the same as I was back then!
So I understand when someone disagrees with teaching words, especially doctrine.
I have been there and done that, and I have set where many of you sit.
I understand it is upsetting to be told you are not believing the truth about some things.
The Word of God tells us that we must study to to show ourselves approved unto God and we must rightly Divide the Word of God, and not take The Word out of context, even Dividing Scripture with Scripture; until we grow up in the Faith.
To be one who cannot be taught, and refuses to change when he is told he is wrong is like being a fool.
If one cannot be instructed, he is very immature and away from reality.
We are living all in a very difficult day, because, there are so many people teaching all kinds of things foreign from The Scripture.
We are truly living in a day of great confusion.
We must Pray and seek The LORD for The Truth of His Words and stop taking what someone tells us to be The Truth.
I have always heard it said that the way up is down. A person must be humble and open to The LORD — humble enough to admit it when one is wrong — and then repent.
If one is humble, one will be lifted up.
By the way, it was The LORD who told me to put the title “Prophet” on my name. I have never wanted to promote myself, but I have to obey my LORD.
Today I receive Prophetic Words because of the gift The LORD has given me.
I speak things revealed to me, and I am a Watcher.
But I know I am nothing at all without The LORD.
