Pray for Others!
With so many things vying for our attention, although it might look good, and like God, there are areas in which the soulish realm in others, unhindered by lack of self-restraint, would reach to our heart and mind, in order to sow that which would blossom as a weed of err.
Saints, although knowledge has increased, that increase can be a distraction, an overload of noise, meant to get our attention, to get out of The Prayer Closet.
The increase of technology, has made it easier for the soulish realm to operate, keeping us immature in the faith, or worse yet causing backsliding.
We have to resist the “need” to read every single thing or watch every video.
Jesus warned that the love of many would grow cold in the end days, and it’s easy to see that the deception ad seduction of this waxing of love, results with “SELFISHNESS.”
Even Paul warned his spiritual son, Timothy, of the end days, when people would be lovers of self.
To the Christian, this might seem to be blatant, but that’s not how the enemy works.
He gets one toe hold in, slowly, to crack the door, where he first wears you out, then gets you listening to his messages of how you “deserve this, and deserve that,” and “how much you have done for others.”
This is where bitterness is watered in the soul, as you entertain his ideas, and in time, you’re swallowed up with what others haven’t done for you.
When you get your eyes off of serving, as Christ, then you become self-serving.
This is where the love of The Body of Christ grows cold, and we must resist this, by getting away and PRAYING FOR OTHERS!
When you pray for others, your eyes are turned towards Christ, and you seek to serve, and to live a life of service.
Know that God has you, and He will take care of you, as you simply lean your entire being on
Christ, picking up your cross and following Him!
God bless!
“Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to be My disciple, let him deny himself [disregard, lose sight of, and forget himself and his own interests] and take up his cross and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying, also]. For whoever is bent on saving his [temporal] life [his comfort and security here] shall lose it [eternal life]; and whoever loses his life [his comfort and security here] for My sake shall find it [life everlasting]. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life [his blessed life in the kingdom of God]? Or what would a man give as an exchange for his [blessed] life [in the kingdom of God]? For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory (majesty, splendor) of His Father with His angels, and then He will render account and reward every man in accordance with what he has done.” Matthew 16:24-27 AMPC.
A saint crying out to God for fullness of deliverance and the manifestation of salvation.
