Prophecy of Death
I find it interesting that many in the church are fascinated with people who have predicted someone’s death, deeming them “true prophets.”
Yet, when we go to the Scriptures, we find that no [true] prophet, major nor minor was known (made a reputation) for calling someone’s death.
Even more, out of the 133 prophets mentioned in The Bible, only 5 are documented (by name) who at some point were given words regarding an individual’s death (not including the prophecies regarding the death of Messiah, which are a significant majority).
- Elijah – Jezebel’s death
- Ahijah – the death of Jeroboam’s son
- Nathan – the death of King David’s unborn child
- Elisha – the death of King Ben-hadad
- Samuel – summoned by the witch of Endor, prophesied that King Saul and his sons would die (controversial topic)
Note: I could also add Isaiah prophesying Hezekiah’s death, but The LORD recanted.
Over all, I need to mention the very few that were listed were not “praised” as prophets because of their words of death, but by their life, teachings, examples, and anointing.
And although death is naturally associated with birth and life, we as believers must also remember that spiritually, death is associated with darkness, separation, and Satan.
Outside of His own (because through His death, we obtained eternal life), we never find Christ praising death.
Instead, He took the keys of death through His own resurrection.
Yes, many people are leaving this world.
This is the season, and that season has several angles to it (including workers of darkness).
But let’s not find ourselves caught up by these things.
More importantly, beware of those who prop themselves up (or allow others to do so), through predicting someone’s death and/or judgment.
Check the frequencies of the spirit that you’re being drawn to in these people, because it’s NOT of YHVH and the Ruach Kodesh [Holy Spirit].
Remember : His judgements also carry mercy. For His desire is not to see us perish, but that we would repent and seek Him.
“The LORD is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9.
“Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? says The LORD God, and not that he should turn from his ways and live?” Ezekiel 18:23.
“Who is a God like You, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy.” Micah 7:18.
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says The LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11.

Ty Mena.
Spiritual death or physical death, we are to speak what God says to speak and not of own wisdom, and of course pray according to the Spirit of God, leaving all judgements to the Almighty.
Blessings peace and love to you dear Mena.

Amen and Amen, dear sister Mena! Well addressed, spoken and phrased. You’re absolutely right – making sure the frequencies of ( “The Holy Spirit” ) is leading us , in/through Jesus Christ.
I understand and especially with many false prophets on the rise in this season, it will take the leading God’s True and Only Spirt, the Holy Spirit. God bless you, dear sister Jones!

What disturbs me is mare those ones who immediately start bashing the sins of someone who just died, making money off the sensationalism of it.
Interesting.
