The thing about blood tests is, you really do not know what’s in your blood till your blood is drawn for a test and the results shown to you.

The Man of God Simeon speaking to Mary about The LORD Jesus Christ said, a sword shall pierce through the hearts of many, that the thoughts of the hearts will be revealed.

“And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against; (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” Luke 2:34-35.

Not only the Apostle Peter, but all the disciples along with Peter professed so great a love for The LORD Jesus Christ and a willingness to die for Him while He was on earth, yet The LORD told this to Peter,

“Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples“. Matthew 26:34-35.

The day will come, when like Jesus Christ said, the prince of this world cometh,

“Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.” John 14:30.

So before that time comes, you must learn to pray as David learned to pray,

“Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” Psalm 139:23-24.

If you submit to the sanctifying work of The LORD willing and at the appropriate time, you will also bear the witness when the “prince of this world” comes, for he will find nothing of his in you.
