Shining Lights
Old though I am, I’ve been increasingly feeling the Anointing of The Holy Spirit when I’m least expecting it!
Listening to “Love, Vast as the Ocean” today, He was on me like a heavy cloak of anointing.
It was as if I was there in 1904-6 listening, joining in, just worshiping The LORD!
You see, I’ve always said that the coming, almost on us, revival will be focused on Gen Z, the 12-30 age group.
Yet The LORD is saying, increasingly, that He has roles for Linda and I in Revival. I believe The LORD has a role for every willing person in what’s coming.
One thing that every single person will do — is to let their light shine!
Now, I’ve always said about how shy and introverted I really am, BUT, The LORD keeps reminding me of the time I apparently shone like gold after I’d been with The LORD!
I walked into a Christian bookshop where my friend worked, and he said, and I really do quote him, “Hang on Chris! Let me close the shop for a few minutes. You’ve been with The LORD — I know because you’re shining like polished gold, and I want to hear all about it!”
Now The LORD is showing me, telling me, that it’s going to be like this for us and many of you as The LORD ‘highlights’ us to those who need someone to talk to, to ask, to minister to them!
This coming Revival truly will be like no other before it.
The Anointing is here already — has been for decades — but the outworking, the manifestation will be different.
Age will be irrelevant. Unction and anointing, coupled with obedience to the Spirit’s voice, will be everything.
The young will run with it. The rest of us will catch up as we can and when we are needed.
We will ALL carry bits of Revival — and the bit YOU carry will be just as necessary as anything else!
Whether you shine, is all that matters. as God uses His ‘shining lights’!

Chris, I can see your shyness in this passage “The young will run with it. The rest of us will catch up as we can and when we are needed;” but I see Isaiah 40:29-31.
Chris, you remind me of Moses and Jeremiah who said they were slow of speech and I’m a child and can’t speak, consecutively. Jennifer didn’t think she could minister to anyone.
Age will be very irrelevant. Shyness will be very irrelevant:-)

I/we are probably your age, have been through „water and fire“ in our walk with him, and still wait now for the manifestation of this kind. Back in the 80 ties a prophet in our small fellowship in Germany said that when this end-time outpouring comes, we „will shine in such a way, that people will either run to us with open arms or they will attack us.“
I will never forget what else he received concerning these times, but much is turning out already like he described.

I agree with that word you heard in the 80’s. In fact, when I was baptised by Holy Spirit in 1990, I apparently shone like gold but only a few people could see it. My work colleagues certainly didn’t notice, but my friend in the local Christian bookshop did. He got very excited because I had “been with God and I want to hear all about it!” he said. He closed the shop, made some coffee, and I had to tell him all about my baptism! LOL
