Silence and Stillness — 6 Comments

  1. “but they do not truly understand that what they desire comes with a cost.”  The cost is great but worth it and I continue to tell Him I am willing.  Hugs Pamie

    • Good evening, my dear friend, Pamie. YES, HE paid a big cost and it cost HIM everything because HE loved us. I have counted the cost many times since I have been in TENNESSEE where I grew up and I have had so very painful years since I came back but GOD has taught me so much about the heart and I admit, I have tried so hard to put in words the depth of my heart experiences here. I have learned well some things about being a called prophet in a city of deep competition and jealousy. I am praying I am on the last leg of this journey writing about the heart. I appreciate your prayers, my sister. In His Love, Sandi

  2. AMEN! To GOD be the Glory for the Changes that are coming to the Churches. Thank You Lord for this Awesome Word!
Thank you Sandi, blessings to you dear one.

    • I receive your blessings tonight, dear Jennifer with deep gratitude as my time of stillness has been a time of healing some deep wounds in my heart. God is so Good and His Love never fails. He is bringing many corrections to His church that have been needed for quite some time. Love is tough sometimes and because HE loves us, He corrects and chastises us. Oh, what a savior! In His Love, Sandi

  3. Yes, Sister.  How important is this word in this time?  With so much “noise” around us competing for our attention, we must be still and silent so that the peace which passes all understanding can fill us.  Our Father’s perfect peace.  Stilling my mind is a challenge.  Like a muscle, it must be used, practiced in order to become stronger. There are days during my quiet time I have to “force” myself to concentrate on nothing but Him.  Other days I feel like I’m climbing into his lap and just being held by Him.  A new season is coming, and my desire is to serve as He wants me to.  Thank you.  Blessings.

    • Brother Cliff, I love ‘Other days I feel like I’m climbing into his lap and just being held by Him.’ That says it so well when I tell HIM ‘Lord, I just need you to hold me’. We all need moments to shut out the clamoring noise and distractions vying for our attention. May you have a super blessed day. In His Love, Sandi
