The End of an Era!

Here is the the Dream I promised to share. December 31st was one of those nights when I heard the voice of The LORD saying the same phrase over and over again.

I tossed and turned with it as He repeated these Words, “The end of an Era!!”

I was in and out of prayer in The Spirit, as I wrestled between hearing and sleeping for what seemed like hours.

This is not a new type of experience for me, but it certainly was as intense as any time I’ve heard Him in the night.

I struggled with bringing myself to an awakened state and finally said, “LORD, I’m sorry. I am so tired. Help me understand and don’t let me forget anything when I get up.”

I will tell you, I hate those times when I simply cannot gather the strength to overcome sleep and stay with Him.

It is a battle of tired flesh and I fight by The Spirit, but I know He is patient with me and His training will be ongoing until I make it all the way Home.

( If you’ve had it happen, you know. I’m sharing this for you. Forgive yourself, pray through, and have no condemnation for it. He is the Faithful One. )

Returning to sleep, I heard it again, “The end of an Era!”

Suddenly, I saw two people. ( This was probably more of a Vision than a Dream. Sometimes it is hard to tell the difference — but I was in what I call ‘that in between place’. )

The two people I saw were a man, and immediately after seeing him, I saw a woman.

Each of these had their right arm held out as if to show their muscle, but their arms were not fully raised in a strong position.

They looked tired and their right arms had fallen down, but still with a fist turned and elbow bent in the ‘show your muscle’ posture.

On the inside of each of their right arms I could see there were scars. They were like railroad tracks, parallel stripes, from the wrist to the upper arm.

Then I heard The Holy Spirit say, “Disappoint!”

This strong Word opened my eyes and sat me up straight!

I asked Him, “Are you disappointed, LORD?”

He said it once more, slowly and broke it into these syllables, “Dis – Appoint. I will Dis – Appoint…..”

At this moment, I came fully awake with immediate understanding of what I had seen.

The LORD impressed on me that we are “in the End of the Era” — when the people of God will rely on their own strength.

In The Church — and largely throughout The Body of Christ — we have been operating by our own strength, which will certainly tire us and will not accomplish His Will.

He says to us, “No longer will you operate by your own strength, but I will guide you by My Mighty Right Arm. I will Dis – Appoint.”

The LORD is Dis – Appointing those who continue to try to do their own thing and build their own kingdoms!

He is coming to the rescue of His People — those sheep without a shepherd — and relieving us of disjointed bodies where The Holy Spirit is not given full reign to operate!

The End of the Era — is here!

The people of God will either get with His Agenda — or be Dis-Appointed.

The scars on the arms of the man and woman represent our efforts to ‘heal ourselves’ — trying in our own strength to do works for our own Salvation and Transformation.

Our own efforts are never going to be the stripes by which we are healed.

Only by His Stripes are we healed and by His doing in all things, we do have Healing, Strength and Wholeness.

“who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness — by whose stripes you were healed.” 1 Peter 2:24.

Finally, I heard, “Reign Supreme! I will Reign Supreme in My Church and I will Dis-Appoint them!”

This is the Word of The LORD to His Church!

Let those who would rule without Christ as Head of His body be dis-appointed.

Let us turn back to His Supreme Reign as He is The One Who will Reign Supreme!

This is a definite timing thing, and came to me on the last night of the year of 2023.

While many are speaking of WAR in 24, I am seeing the WAR being of many types of conflicts.

Possibly our biggest concern for conflict should be focused on praying through and in unity for the coming together in Unity and Community in The Body of Christ.

His Mighty Right Arm will save and nothing we can do in our own strength will ever bring lasting gain.

Let every other kingdom fall — but let The LORD Reign forever in His Kingdom.

“Behold, The LORD God comes with might, and his arm rules for him; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him. He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms, he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young.” Isaiah 40:10-11 ESV.

Clearly, the scriptures tell us of the strong and righteous arm of the loving Shepherd who is our Lord God.

He will not let His lambs go. He will not allow the shepherds of His flock to neglect what He has entrusted to them.

“The strong right arm of The LORD is raised in triumph. The strong right arm of The LORD has done glorious things!” Psalm 118:16 NLT.

Glorious things He has done by His Strong Right Arm!

May we return to reliance on The LORD God alone.

Pray this with me. Pray for The Church and all the people of God.

We must worship Him alone in Spirit and in Truth.
