The Frost
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
The Frost
Let the frost on your heart melt
Just like the morning sun touching
Frost-covered leaves
Let the frost on your heart melt
Just like the morning sun touching
Frost-covered roof tops
Oh the cold, dark night is melting away
Suddenly you are freed from your frozen state
Now standing in the daylight
A love descends upon your heart
A love growing gradually
A love warming continuously
Opening your eyes and changing your life
Say goodbye to the frost on your heart!
Say goodbye to the hardened heart!
Say goodbye to the dark, cold night!
And say good morning to the One
Who has put warmth in your heart!
His Love has restored your hope and soul
His Love has given you indescribable joy
His Love has healed everything from the past
He has given you a new purpose to last and last
Oh the frost has melted forever!
So shout it out from the roof tops:
The frost is gone! Forever gone!
Say goodbye to the frost on your heart!
Say goodbye to the hardened heart!
Say goodbye to the dark, cold night!
And say good morning to the One
Who has put warmth in your heart!
Oh a new you is beginning
With a love, true and true
(The frost is gone)
Oh a new you is beginning
With a love that won’t ever grow cold
So shout it out from the roof tops:
The frost is gone! Forever gone!
Say goodbye to the frost on your heart!
Say goodbye to the hardened heart!
Say goodbye to the dark, cold night!
And say good morning to the One
Who has put warmth in your heart!
So shout it out from the roof tops:
The frost is gone! Forever gone!
So shout it out from the roof tops:
The frost is gone! Forever gone!
And say good morning to the One
Who has put warmth and love in your heart!
