The LORD Wants a Witness! Punch Back!
A Testimony of two single and separate sentences that qualify as a “Word”.
The LORD instructed me to weave it together and share it, now.
On Sunday afternoon in the USA, I’m maintaining my peace well amidst a lot on my plate; earlier I thanked God for His faithfulness — after I prayed on my way to visit my ailing loved one. The visit was better than I could have imagined, thank you Jesus!
Several hours later or this afternoon, I started pondering current challenging things in life as we all do when we’re facing them.
Sometimes, the thoughts that the enemy (the adversary) tries lead us to agree with, through using other family or friends as his vessels, to poke, jab, or outright stab us.
Don’t forget, we have to take them captive! (2 Corinthians 10:5)
He wants offense, or pain, or the spirit of rejection to worm its way in, or back in!
Fortunately, I have been well trained over the last twelve years, and I try my best to stand in my identity in Him, rather than get angry or hurt by a friend or family member, when Ephesians 6 says I “wrestle not against flesh and blood….”
I know very well, like many of us do right now, about the level of darkness increasing significantly in the spirit realm.
These spiritual attacks are increasing and converging; remember — the enemy will try to wear out the saints! (See Daniel 7:5)
Of course, we know the good news is, those who are “lights” are called to rise and shine, and in Him we will soon shine brightly! (See Isaiah 60:1-3)
We may get upset or angry for a few — but we can’t hold onto it, amen?
I am saddened though when this happens, or a few times in the past where I hurt someone or may have triggered a deep/ unhealed wound in someone else, without meaning to!
So as this was happening, I was also thinking about the “giant” or two that I’m facing right now on a couple of fronts.
I suddenly heard from The Father, the Word of The LORD God come by His Spirit, with a very short and succinct message: “I want a WITNESS!”
The above demand or Command came clearly by The Spirit, in The Fathers’ deep and strong voice!
Immediately, Scriptures came to mind one second later.
We should all have them already scribed in or embedded on the tablets of our heart (See 2 Corinthians 3:3) but they are:
- Revelation 12:11.
- Isaiah 43:10.
- Acts 1:8.
I’ll briefly say, Revelation 12:11 “Testimony” is one of the Three (3) Keys to “overcoming” and overcoming, means enduring to the end, as He helps us overcome the one who comes to “steal, kill, and destroy! (See John 10:10a)
If we’re not giving God glory by witnessing or sharing testimony when we could or should, then we’re ignoring one of the three keys, and the math doesn’t add up. Then “Overcoming” is at risk!
Also, God wants the GLORY, for the big things or smaller things He’s done for us!
To some who may think: “I’m grateful but (insert your example here) this is a little thing, people don’t want to hear me”, then you’re listening to the lies of the devil.
A minor “God thing” for one, could be a timely miraculous account of encouragement for the person who needs to hear it, and whom God put in front of you!
There’s nothing too small to thank The LORD for, and it’s okay or good to share!
Giving a Testimony is also one of the most effective ways to evangelize and plant seeds; simply share (as led by The Spirit) when you have “a setup from or by God” that’s likely a divine connection and opportunity to witness!
This could potentially plant a seed that lands in the “soil”, and not on the rocks or blown into the thorns and briers! (See Matthew 13: 3-8)
Our job is to sow!
HE is the Savior; but Testimony is powerful — and don’t minimize it or fall into fear.
If you’re giving a true Witness, it should just flow or be relatively easy to share!
Finally, if God’s testing and prompting us, whether in front of an individual we know is hurting or struggling, or in a small or big group, testifying may quickly encourage and give God glory in the process.
If we don’t do this — it could be a sin of “omission”, which is not like outright sin, but it’s the sin of “missed opportunity!”
When this happens (and it’s happened to all of us, including me.) we will likely hear from Him about it at the Bema Judgment Seat of Christ where it will qualify as wood, hay or stubble! (See 1 Corinthians 3:11-15)
An hour or two later, as I was still thinking about it and knew I had to share this very short “Word”, then I suddenly heard a big two-word sentence, it was: “PUNCH BACK!”
The LORD’s laid that one on me before.
In essence, He’s saying: by giving our Witness, it can make a huge difference in Spiritual Warfare.
So, the next time the enemy or just people in life, attack or hurt you, or if you’re down and struggling because you’re tired of fiery trials you’re in, the strategy is “if the devil and his spiritual forces” spoken of in Ephesians 6 are trying to wear you out.
So ultimately during this two-word sentence and download, I knew He wants me to stitch or weave them together.
So His Message is: “HE wants a WITNESS! PUNCH BACK!”
Being obedient to this, will potentially do many good things — including edifying yourself (In Him) by being ready and able to share.
One could say it’s a way to “take back Kingdom ground” from the lion that’s out there, seeking to devour those who love the Lion of the Tribe of Judah!
If you think you can’t minister to or edify someone, when you’re in the fire yourself — my Witness and experience humbly say: YES, you can! (See Philippians 4:13!)
Ways to “Punch back!”
🔥 Testify to someone, whether a friend, or a co-worker who’s hurting or struggling and they share something with you, that you empathize with, because you went through “that” too, and God brought you through.
That’s a ripe harvest field or heart to sow into!
The adversary will be so annoying and you’re doing what you’re supposed to! (See Matthew 5: 14-16)
🔥 Intercede! War for the broken or stubborn and rebellious person or narcissist who’s attacking you!
Or maybe not- if the Holy Spirit doesn’t want you to.
On a handful of occasions over the years, there have been maybe 4 times where God said to me: “Do NOT pray for these people!”
When that happens, I obey instantly, after testing the Spirit of course.
You may ask, why would God say that? Odds are they’re stubborn Covenant Breakers whom He’s losing patience with and they’re “skating on the edge,” so to speak.
This is a rare thing, so if you want to punch back, pray for them directly or pray for other vessels Satan is tormenting, stand in the gap for them if led!
See Matthew 5:44 and Jeremiah 7:16-19
“Therefore, do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry or prayer for them, nor make intercession to Me; for I will not hear you. Do you not see what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? The children gather wood, the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead dough, to make cakes for the queen of heaven; and they pour out drink offerings to other gods, that they may provoke Me to anger. Do they provoke Me to anger?” says The LORD. “Do they not provoke themselves, to the shame of their own faces?”” Jeremiah 7:16-19.
🔥 Also, we could and should obey The Word and “bless your enemies!”
See Luke 6:28 and Proverbs 25: 21-22
🔥 Feed the hungry, bless the poor, or visit those who are sick (Hospitals, ministering healing or praying for them) or in prison! (See Matthew 25:35-40)
Now, I have one last amazing confirmation to share with you, on what happened earlier as I was typing this up!
Literally, as I’m starting this testimony, I receive a message from a very close sibling on WhatsApp. I took a screenshot and I’m going to paste it next:

Your Testimony Defeats the Devil | Here’s Why He Attacks It
— Hullalujah Ministries
You can’t make this up! While I’m typing this — “bing” — there lands this message.
I told my dear friend what was happening, and I have seen this brother and I like how God’s using Him, but that God was in essence giving me the exact same message or topic— and strongly prompting me to type up this Version and share it!
I haven’t listened to that video yet, I wanted to get this done first — but I likely will listen soon.
Remember, the Word (and Counsel) of God is established by two or three witnesses! (2 Corinthians 13:1)
It’s not the first time this type of thing has happened, but God will do it in a number of different ways!
I don’t know about you, but I’m thankful for His faithfulness and He IS so amazing!
Test it, but I suggest- “Listen, obey, and trust!” If we all do this as often as we can, God will be pleased; after all, we’re called to please Him, and not man, right? See Ephesians 6:6-8
Blessings to my spiritual family. Many of you reading this likely have been doing these things, but if you know other believers that may struggle or need encouragement, or to hear His timely words and instruction, please share it with them.
There’s so much more I could put in here (Scriptures!), but it’s late and I don’t want to make it any longer. I’ll leave you with this specific blessing from Him: (Numbers 6:24-26)
Postscript
My Testimony by The Spirit in me is that Jesus “came (as God) in the flesh”, as His only begotten Son, who gave his life willingly as the sinless and Spotless Lamb, as a sacrifice for the sins of the world, to those who would repent and believe.
He shed His precious blood to redeem us from the wages of sin, which is death. After He was tortured and nailed to the cross, he died, was buried three days, then resurrected by the dunamis power of the Holy Spirit and ascended to the Right Hand of The Father.
Post Postscript
It just hit me that I touched on “Listening, obeying, and trusting God!”
Please click here for more on that if you’d like: “Listen, Obey, and Trust!”
I also will give a final and true witness. The LORD IS coming soon! We are the generation!
Repent; The Kingdom of God is at hand!
~ T. Andrew Farley
Todd Andrew Farley is part of the nameless brigade, called for a time such as this, primarily to minister to the body of Christ and occasionally as a prophetic messenger for the edification of those called to the remnant Bride of Christ. He gives all glory, honor and praise, to the Name above all names, Jesus! For He alone was worthy. Andrew’s own Ministry website is Eagles of Zion.

It was just a few days ago I had said this very Word and share the scripture to two people I know, “the enemy will try to wear out the saints! (See Daniel 7:5)”
And YES, we can minister to or edify someone, when we’re in the fire. Even yesterday after church I had the opportunity to do just that; and it amazed me because I actually pushed myself to go to church. Our God knows the opportunity at hand before I knew it and gave me the strength I needed.
Andrew, the Words you post are always timely to share like-minded experiences. Thank you, blessings.
Way to push through in His grace Jennifer, you passed that test it sounds like! (“The LORD tests the righteous, AND the wicked…Ps. 11:5a The good news is He’s not condemning His whether we pass or fail, but as we all know- in His higher than our way ways, IF we fail a test, He justs adjusts things a bit to get us to the next one! I keep telling myself I’m about done praying for more “fire”, but every now and then I open my big mouth and He’s faithful. :-)Yes, the anti-Christ isn’t “officially” revealed to all yet, but he’s been around a while. The bigger thing is even though the big suddenlies haven’t hit yet; the spirit of age is highly influencing the increase of darkness in todays age. We guard (Or ask the LORD to help in) guarding our hearts from worldly influence, but it still comes at us. The anti-Christ SPIRIT however, has been at it a long time and while the figurehead hasn’t exposed himself, he’s been shown to many. Yet, that ac spirit is trying very hard to wear us out before He steps on the stage with lights shining on him. God’s grace is sufficient; many of us are weary- but God is allowing what He does, to bring us through and out- to give Himself more Glory for His faithfulness. Wow…We were chosen for this. 2 of my close friends past and present, both received “He’s saving His best wine for last.” Sometimes we don’t feel like we are; but thankfully HE IS the Author and Finisher, and knows what He’s doing. Blessings to you and all the (True) body members who have been and are being shaken, but we know His word says: “to strengthen that which remains.” Thank you Jesus, for who you ARE and what you did for us; the Rock of our Salvation! Andrew
Thank you for your response – it could be the reason we don’t feel like we are the best wine, is to keep us humble, and if we ever do, too late pride, we have become like Him.
Good morning, my amazing friend, Andrew! What a way to give your testimony that is so needed in these challenging times we are in. I love that the bottom line is WE WIN and punch line is Stand your ground. Many blessings! In His Love, Sandi
Thank you also amazing friend and eternal relative. Praise the Lord, it had been a little while but He dropped a quick one on me, and thankfully helped me type it up! (A few minor mistakes due to my tired flash early in the morning, I’m grateful to all for forgiveness for!) 🙂
Thank you for being available to share all you do, He’s spoken much encouragement and sometimes confirmations, through it. Blessings over the rest of your day and week.
In His Love,
A
Your message reminds me of Ecclesiastes. Sometimes I keep on reading it.
Eccelsiates is either written by a seriously backslidden later life Solomon (this is under preached but is true), or of a prophet writing from Solomon’s point of view – depends on how you interpret some sentences. Yet I find the book profoundly helps me with Perspective. You are probably much better than Solomon (obviously), who was busy worshipping idols and betraying his faith, but I do think people could benefit from reading your stuff closely like they could benefit from reading Ecclesiastes often. Ecclesiastes clearly has a healing gift on it.
I did also have a word for you: God will continue improving your writing style and stage delivery if you stick to his amazing plans for your life. Amen.
Thank you for that wisdom Adrian, and the word and encouragement. I think I’m going to have to get back into Ecclesiastes tonight!
I so needed this. Some time ago I failed in witnessing, as I didn’t realize the Lord could use little ole me. Pray that I do better next time. I was talking about the Lord, but when this woman started crying, I didn’t know what to do. I need to be able to hear the Lord. Thank you brother and Jesus for this.
Praise the LORD and thank you Jesus! I love another one of King David’s petitions in Ps 141:3; “Set a guard O LORD, over my mouth; and keep watch over my lips.” When you do that, just trust the Holy Spirit who’s in you!
Remember my sister, like Esther, “little old you” was made for a time such as this! Blessings!
I’m pleased to say I HAVE shared certain ‘defining’ moments in my life, look forward to the next opportunities, and grateful that doing it online counts as much as in letters or in person.
Amen Rebecca, keep the shine on, that’s awesome and yes, He can easily “leverage” our testimonies online and get it to whoever needs to hear it. One day not far off we likely won’t be able to share online anymore or able to , but we work while it’s daylight amen? If we all follow the greatest command, in everything we do or share, He shows himself faithful in and through us! BLESSINGS!
