The Love Christ Is Calling
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
The Love Christ Is Calling
His Love is calling you out from the crowd
His Eyes lock with yours urging you to follow
To the dock He goes, The Love Christ.
He stands and waits before a boat.
“Are you ready?” He whispers.
“Are you ready to embark on a Love Journey with Me?
Across a river of healing, of restoration, of strengthening, of abundant life? My Healing Waters we shall travel upon.”
It was an offer I could not refuse
So I stepped onto His Boat….
Starting from the temple and flowing east—
Flowing, flowing, flowing:
Here a man held a line
And one thousand cubits he measured
And he brought me through the waters
And the water came up to my ankles;
Flowing, flowing, flowing
And again one thousand cubits he measured
And he brought me through the waters
The water came up to my knees;
Flowing, flowing, flowing
And again one thousand cubits he measured
And brought me through
The water came up to my waist;
Flowing, flowing, flowing
Again one thousand cubits he measured
And it was a river that I could not cross;
For the water was too deep,
Water in which one must swim
A river that could not be crossed
Flowing, flowing, flowing
Oh Holy Spirit take me deeper
Purify me like the salt-filled Dead Sea
Bring life back to the once dead places in my heart
In Your Presence I shall go deeper, deeper, deeper
Your Spirit flows through me, oh Love Christ!
I drink in Life, Healing and Restoration
Oh abundant trees on the shores of the river I see
With fruit for provision and leaves for healing
I receive the abundance my God offers me!
Flowing, flowing, flowing….
His Love is calling you out from the crowd
His Eyes lock with yours urging you to follow
Will you follow, will you follow The Love Christ?
Will you enter into His Presence, step onto the boat?
Will you trust Him to take you through deep waters,
Deeper, deeper, deeper, transforming your soul?
He stands and waits before a boat.
“Are you ready?” He whispers.
“Are you ready to embark on a Love Journey with Me?
Across a river of healing, of restoration, of strengthening, of abundant life? My Healing Waters we shall travel upon.”
Oh The Love Christ is holding out His Hand, awaiting…
To take you deeper, deeper, deeper
Through deep waters….
“Then he brought me back to the door of the temple; and there was water, flowing from under the threshold of the temple toward the east, for the front of the temple faced east; the water was flowing from under the right side of the temple, south of the altar. He brought me out by way of the north gate, and led me around on the outside to the outer gateway that faces east; and there was water, running out on the right side.
And when the man went out to the east with the line in his hand, he measured one thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the water came up to my ankles. Again he measured one thousand and brought me through the waters; the water came up to my knees. Again he measured one thousand and brought me through; the water came up to my waist. Again he measured one thousand, and it was a river that I could not cross; for the water was too deep, water in which one must swim, a river that could not be crossed. He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen this?” Then he brought me and returned me to the bank of the river.
When I returned, there, along the bank of the river, were very many trees on one side and the other. Then he said to me: “This water flows toward the eastern region, goes down into the valley, and enters the sea. When it reaches the sea, its waters are healed. And it shall be that every living thing that moves, wherever the rivers go, will live. There will be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters go there; for they will be healed, and everything will live wherever the river goes. It shall be that fishermen will stand by it from En Gedi to En Eglaim; they will be places for spreading their nets. Their fish will be of the same kinds as the fish of the Great Sea, exceedingly many. But its swamps and marshes will not be healed; they will be given over to salt. Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine.” Ezekiel 47:1-12 NKJV.
“There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.” Psalm 46:4 NKJV.
“Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price,” Isaiah 55:1 NKJV.
“A woman from Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give me a drink.” (For his disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.) The Samaritan woman said to him, “How is it that you, a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a woman of Samaria?” (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.) Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.” The woman said to him, “Sir, you have nothing to draw water with, and the well is deep. Where do you get that living water? Are you greater than our father Jacob? He gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did his sons and his livestock.” Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water, so that I will not be thirsty or have to come here to draw water.”” John 4:7-15 NKJV.
“On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”“ John 7:37-38 NKJV.
“And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.” Revelation 22:1 NKJV.
“And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.” Revelation 22:17 NKJV.
“Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of The LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of The LORD from Jerusalem.” Isaiah 2:3 NKJV.
