The Signet Ring: A Nation’s Return to The Father

Yesterday while driving down the boulevard, I ran into some traffic and I could hear the cars around me blasting all kinds of music, different genres.
I had worship music playing, and a beautiful presence of God filled the car, and there’s also an awesome presence as I’m writing this.
Every one of us would be able to enter into His presence like this if we learn how to tune out the noise in the spirit realm and tune in to The Holy Spirit.
I was thinking about an event happening tomorrow (May 17, 2026) in Washington, D.C. titled: “Rededicate250” A national Jubilee of Prayer, Praise & Thanksgiving.”
It’s a gathering on the National Mall where thousands will come together to rededicate our nation as One Nation Under God.
People across the country will be hosting it in Churches and homes, playing live-stream videos, joining in prayer, worship, and giving testimonies.
It’s amazing how The LORD orchestrated this historic event to draw people back to father God. I began thinking about Joseph, how he was favored of his father, and his brothers were jealous of that relationship.
They threw him into a pit and when the Egyptians found him, they sold him into slavery. He was wrongfully thrown into prison, etc; but through it all he never sinned and never lost his focus. He had a dream from God and was determined to see it fulfilled.
Because of his obedience, Pharaoh gave Joseph his signet ring (ṭabaʿaṯ) and authority over all of Egypt.
The LORD gave him favor. Not just for Joseph’s sake, but in preparation for God’s plan for his family and the nation of Israel.
Psalm 105 says,
“Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of The LORD tested him.” Psalm 105:19.
In December 2025 I received a prophetic word for the New Year titled: “2026: The Just Shall Live by Faith”.
It was pretty lengthy but I want to share this excerpt I wrote about the prodigal sons and daughters returning home.
The year 2026 will be a time of awakening. Many prodigal sons and daughters who’ve hit rock bottom will come to their senses and return home.
Those who left their father’s house and squandered everything will return with humility, repentant hearts, and a vengeance against the kingdom of darkness that tried to capture and destroy them.
They’ll be stronger and more tenacious than they were before. They will become warriors for The LORD and overcomers in their generation. Their testimony will bring deliverance to many.
The father will not only receive them back with open arms, but He will also adorn them with symbols of their restored identity.
He will place a robe of authority on their shoulders, signifying new power and position in the Kingdom.
He will put a signet ring (daktýlios) on their finger, representing the seal of His approval, favor, and covenant promises.
He will place shoes on their feet, symbolizing their readiness to walk in their God-given purpose and proclaim the good news.
They will be clothed in righteousness, and identified as beloved sons and daughters, well equipped for ministry and service.
Joseph received a signet ring from Pharoah because he stayed faithful through the testing.
The prodigal son received a signet ring from his father because he came home in repentance.
Different situations, but the same father, same ring (selah), and same restoration of their identity and authority.
The LORD is calling everyone to return to the Father. He is calling every believer who has strayed to come back to their first love.
To those who have lost their zeal and grown weary in well-doing, come back to the secret place, and He will receive you with open arms.
“Blessed is the nation whose God is The LORD, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.” Psalm 33:12.
“And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.'” Luke 15:31–32.
Blessings in Christ Jesus,
