The Ten Gates of Nehemiah — 5 Comments

  1. Thank you for the wonderful message
Yes we can lose rewards when we sin, but not salvation.  1 John 1.9 says If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. All sins and backsliding past, present and future have been taken care at the cross

You were saved by your faith confession.Rom 10.9…if thou shall, by faith, confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
So the only way to lose your salvation is if …..you undo Rom 10.9,10 with your mouth

God bless you for the blessed insight into The Ten Gates of Nehemiah

  2. Checking Understanding

“Even though we are saved by Faith and can never lose it, but we can lose rewards. If we continue to do willful sin, or neglect to do what you are called to do, we can lose rewards.”

“…can never lose salvation?” We can lose salvation. That is ‘backsliding.’ *”The prophet Jeremiah said, “Our backsliding is great; we have sinned against you” (Jeremiah 14:7).” If people repent of the sin of backsliding, then God will forgive them. What if people join the interfaith movement? That is the harlot bride.
