The Voice of Truth — The Voice of the Rescuer
This is an important word for this hour.
As we know the devil is prowling about, pretending to be a roaring lion, seeking his prey, seeking whom he may devour. He comes but to kill, steal, and destroy.
He may be prowling around your family or your friends, or even brothers and sisters in The LORD.
We can never truly know what is going on in another person’s mind and heart. It is a spirit of death loosed for such a time as this.
It whispers, “There is no hope.”
This person may even be contemplating taking their own life. But oh, there is Hope, my friend.
Please stop and listen and share what the Spirit is saying today.
God is a “right on time” God.
Jesus Christ is still stepping into the darkest places of the human heart and declaring, “I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. The darkness will not have you. Come to Me.
Beloved.
For there is a voice speaking into the darkness of this hour.
It whispers, “There is no hope.
Nothing will ever change.
No one sees you.
No one loves you.
There is no way out.”
But that voice is a liar.
There is another Voice calling your name.
It is the Voice of Truth.
It is the Voice of the Rescuer.
The enemy goes about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
He looks for the weary, the wounded, the lonely, the disappointed and the hopeless.
He whispers death into places of pain and tries to convince My Precious Ones that their present darkness is their final destination.
But Beloved, darkness is not your destination.
There is a Rescuer in the darkness.
His Name is Jesus Christ.
Worldly success,
achievement,
money,
reputation,
relationships,
intellect
These things can be shaken, Dear One.
These things can be gone in an instant.
There is only One Rock that cannot be shaken.
It is Jesus.
The “I AM that I AM.”
I AM coming into the place where you thought no one could find you.
You are not too deep for My hand.
You are not too far away for My voice.
You are not too broken for My love.
You are not too weak for My strength.
And you are not without Hope.
I AM YOUR HOPE.
When your own strength is gone, I give power to the faint.
When you feel defenseless, I arise as the Dread Champion.
When you feel abandoned, I reveal Myself as Abba Father.
I AM a Father to the fatherless.
When grief has left an empty chair beside you,
Your Maker is your Husband
The God of the whole earth
The Defender of the widow.
When the world has convinced you that you are unwanted, rejected or unloved, I call you by another name:
BELOVED.
You are My Beloved.
The darkness told you that nobody was coming.
But I came.
The pit told you there was no way out.
But I am The LORD your God
who takes hold of your right hand
And says ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’
Hopelessness told you tomorrow would only bring more darkness.
But I AM already standing in your tomorrow.
Death whispered, ‘Give up.’
But the Spirit declares,
“LIVE.”
Beloved, the Light still shines in the darkness, and the darkness cannot overcome it.
Your Savior did not come merely to make your darkness more bearable.
He came to bring you out of it.
From the miry pit to the unshakable Rock.
From hopelessness to Hope.
From fear to perfect Love.
From weakness to His Strength.
From fatherless to Fathered.
From unwanted to Chosen.
From unloved to BELOVED.
From darkness into My Marvelous Light.
There is no pit deeper than My reach.
There is no night darker than My Light.
There is no weakness greater than My strength.
So when the enemy whispers, “There is no hope,” answer him:
“My Hope has a Name.”
JESUS.
“I waited patiently for The LORD; He inclined to me and heard my cry. He lifted me up from the pit of despair, out of the miry clay; He set my feet upon a rock, and made my footsteps firm. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in The LORD.” Psalm 40:1-3.
“For your Maker is your husband, The LORD of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called” Isaiah 54:5.
“The light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” John 1:5.
“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength.” Isaiah 40:29.
“A father of the fatherless, and a Defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.” Psalm 68:5.
“But The LORD is with me like a dread champion; therefore my persecutors will stumble and not prevail. They will be utterly ashamed, because they have failed, with an everlasting disgrace that will not be forgotten.” Jeremiah 20:11.
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10.
