There Is Only One Road That Leads to JESUS

You can take any road in life you wish
But there is only one road that leads to JESUS
To the left or to the right you may go
Or the long way around just for show
And you think you will find what you are looking for
To fulfill everything your heart desires
But somewhere along the way
You start to question it all and wonder:
Am I on the right road?

You can take your chance
And place your hope in the things of this world
Or you can place your hope
In the Eternal Living God and His Son
You can gamble on the empty promises of the devil
Or you can seek and know
The finished work JESUS did on the Cross
Oh His Great Sacrifice for all mankind
And the inheritance The Father has awaiting

Oh there is only one road that leads to JESUS

A road of Surrender
A road of Love
A road of Faith
A road of Repentance
It will get you into Heaven
And save your soul from eternal torment
A road of Peace
A road of Comfort
A road of Protection
A road of Sacrifice
It will give you eternal life
His road is the only road that matters

Oh His road isn’t easy
It isn’t popular
Oh His road takes courage
It isn’t all rainbows
It requires faith
It requires perseverance
But on His road He will guide You
And see You through all things in life
His Path is firm and solid under your feet

Not the kind this world wants you to travel upon
Oh His road leads to eternity
Full of life, life abundantly
