Obeying God in These Last Days
“Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?” Romans 6:16.
Good morning!
Today I will be sharing a short video I did this morning.
Here is just a gist of some of the main points:
- Read all around the scriptures and put in context.
- We are to rightly divide the Word of God.
- Saul lost his kingdom for not obeying God! Samuel had to go to him and tell
him. - Obedience this day and time might even mean our very lives!
- We must Obey all instructions given us by the Holy Spirit in our daily walk!
“And Samuel said, Hath The LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of The LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.” 1 Samuel 15:2.
- If we don’t get still in His Presence, how are we going to hear Him?
- There is nothing wrong about meditating with The LORD!
- We need to spend some time before we even start our day with The LORD!
“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10.
Last scriptures given were in 1 John.
“Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.” 1 John 2:24-27.
- What about the young people in these schools today and what should we do?
- Pray about all things, where to go and when to stay home, etc?
- The LORD can see us through all suffering!
- The joy of The LORD is our strength!
God bless everyone.
