In the very midst of an unraveling situation, instead of saying,  “Why is this happening to me?”, I believe The LORD has a way of allowing some things to occur, so that a greater resolve can be worked through to avoid a more serious situation to arise later down the road.

Many times, our natural inclination is,  “LORD, get me out of this!”, while there is a powerful Redemptive Plan that is coming down the road ahead, and that Plan can ultimately help all those who are concerned.

So instead of fight — or even flight — we pray and seek the heart of The Father, inviting His Grace and Mercy to come in.

Even pray for a maturity to arise in us, to face the circumstances that present themselves.

Because in the long run, it will inwardly add to us what we need moving forward — and in the end, results work out for the greater good for the entire community.

When only one gains — even if it’s us — we lose….
