I feel its time to shine a spotlight on an extremely dangerous deception that is sweeping across the body of Christ.
Just the other day, I was informed by a well known leader within prophetic circles that the ‘number of likes’ that one gets is very important to whether or not a prophetic word should get public recognition on a ministry website!
Seriously, you could have knocked me over with a feather!
The last time I looked, the Word of God was the only measuring stick by which a prophetic Word should be tested and then shared.
Since when has the authenticity and validity of a prophetic word been measured by the number of likes or great comments that one gets?
My heart is grieved to think that so many in the body of Christ could have lowered their standards to such a dangerous and deceptive degree.
I am truly fearful for those who would measure the credibility of any prophetic word according to the approval or praises of man and on that basis, then publish or share a word publicly.
May God have mercy on these ministries!
- Please do not test the prophetic words I share according to the number of [Facebook] likes or comments they receive (or by the number of followers and friends I have).
- Please use the Word of God to weigh what I submit and then if the Holy Spirit leads you to share with others, then do so.
Blessings to you all.
