We Must Stay Rooted & Grounded in the Word as Christians!

It is on my heart to do some warnings today to the Church.
“A true witness delivereth souls: but a deceitful witness speaketh lies.” Proverbs 14:25.
“A just weight and balance are The LORD’s: all the weights of the bag are his work.” Proverbs 16:11.
Good morning!
If you know me personally or through my articles, I do endeavor to warn at times.
I don’t see the truth in the ‘pie in the sky’ messages out all over the place!
Online and in the so called prophetic communities today, there is so much out there, that is just ‘fluff’ and stuff!
Some need to open this link, although it is long.
My one desire is that it will help and strengthen you to have your eyes open.
Now an ‘excerpt’ here of 3 ways we can tell the true from the false.
There are probably more, but what I could see to bring out:
“Many in the Body of Christ are confused and don’t know what too believe. The LORD wants His children to Not be shaken!
1) First, I see the main way to tell is by a person’s fruits. Plain and simple. If a person screams S-e-l-f and the glory is being reflected on them instead of Jesus Christ — beware!
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23.
2) If their testimony don’t match up with their lives — beware!
Many leaders out there are looking for the titles and mans applause. They call themselves this and that and many times are false prophets and wolves in sheep’s clothing.
(Note, some are the real deal. Although that is not what we are talking about here.)
“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” Matthew 7:15
3) The false will fleece the flock. They are greedy and after the money. The love of money is the root of all evil- beware.
(I am not talking about having a stingy spirit on our end, either. If The LORD has our hearts he certainly has our pocketbooks.)
“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” 1 Timothy 6:10.
Some have fallen as leaders. If they are sincere, and seeking forgiveness yes! Absolutely, we are to restore in a spirit of meekness.
“Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.” Galatians 6:3.
“For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.” James 2:13.
“Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.” Isaiah 65:5.
Still, let them be proven out, and have a time of healing and restoration before they are in a full position of authority again.
The f-a-l-s-e though, you need to walk away from. Maybe RUN is a better word!
Most assuredly we are to try the spirits with everyone.
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” 1 John 4:1.
Closing for now and pray God will bless each one.”
Getting back now….
We must be extremely careful that we don’t swallow everything ‘hook line & sinker’ we are hearing out there today!
Let us be like the Berean Christians and search all things being spoken out.
“And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” Acts 17:10-11.
God bless you all.
