What Do You See, a Cross Too Heavy or a Glory Too Weighty?
What do you see, a Cross too heavy or a Glory too weighty, if you claim that the assignments given you by The Kingdom are to great a burden to bear, or a great price to pay?
The books will be opened, and they will search the archives. If they find one, whom through greater sacrifice, pain, fulfilled a mission of similar weight, your argument will be nullified, and you will be considered a failure.
This is what The LORD Jesus meant in these verses of Matthew 12,
“The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here. The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.” Matthew 12:41-42.
When the books are opened, you will shocked to see that there are many Saints, who accomplished so very much for The Kingdom, in far more hostile conditions, with even less resources available to them.
The LORD alluded to how great a price the queen of south was willing to pay to hear the wisdom of Solomon, yet told of how a greater Wisdom was right before them, within reach, yet they couldn’t commit to gain it.
The LORD said, for that reason, the witness of the queen of the south will speak against then in judgment.
More resources, better conditions for service in The Kingdom, doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll accomplish more for The Kingdom.
Having more, doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll give more to The Kingdom!
As was in the earthly days of The LORD Jesus Christ, lowering the “price to be paid”, to make it easier for people to walk in a “greater wisdom and glory” isn’t a guarantee that they’ll yield.
King Saul with the army and armoury of Israel could not take down Goliath, yet a young shepherd boy, with a slings-tone and a hunting bag, and many despisers and “dishonorers” talking down on him, took down Goliath.
You’ll be surprised to see that The Kingdom can prove, how so many Saints who have gone ahead, have accomplished much more for The Kingdom with far less resources, and much more hostile conditions.
What will your excuse be?
Many have been given near perfect conditions to accomplish far less things in The Kingdom, yet they faulted these conditions, and accomplished — nothing!
We live in a generation with hundreds of Bible translations available in a second, yet The Word of The LORD is “scarce”!
“The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.” Matthew 12:42.
Again, I ask, What’s your excuse?
Until you recognise the pearls of The Kingdom for what it’s worth, every penny will seem a price too great for it, and it’ll remain unattainable.
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it,” Matthew 13:45-46.
When you’ve been called into The Kingdom to serve The LORD, to walk in His Glory and Presence, give it all you have! It’s worth more than any flicking little thing in this world!!
