What is Your Impossible?
What is Your Impossible?
My mother told me a story when I was a young woman about Faith.
This mother had a son who committed murder. The judge sentenced him to death by hanging.
The hour was set for 12 noon at the Atonement of the Bell. When the bell rang at 12 noon – the woman’s son would die. Mercy was not accepted in this court.
Parts of a Bell
- Yoke : The cross piece from which a bell is hung and swung.
- Crown : The top or head of a bell.
- Waist : The middle sides of a bell.
- Lip : The lowest edge of a bell.
- Clapper : A metal shaft terminating in a solid sphere that swings back and forth inside to strike a bell and make it ring.
- Canons : Suspension loops that attach a bell to a yoke or other structural support.
- Shoulder : The upper sides of a bell, often bearing inscriptions or designs.
- Sound Bow : The thick part of a bell against which the clapper strikes.
- Mouth : The open part of a bell.
The old lady made her way up the steep steps to reach the chapel where the big bell was housed. Somehow she managed to climb inside the bell and – hold on to the Clapper.
Her body prevented the Clapper from touching the the Sound Bow. Therefore, the bell could not ring. The old woman’s son did not die that day because the bell did not ring!

The LORD showed me the need to Repent because of operating without Faith!
“For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” James 2:26.
Eating properly and getting the correct amount of rest are under question.
Making sound business and relationship decisions is also scrutinized.
Parenting children. Managing marriage and singleness needs examination.
How we handle our daily affairs are under question as well. Are we really responding to faith or tapping into the world’s way of doing things.
I repented this morning before I sent this Word out.
Jesus is the faith of God manifested in flesh. God and Jesus has faith enough in humans to believe they will continue in faith. Don’t let them down!
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13.
“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:5-6.
“For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.” Romans 9:15.
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1.
“Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” Hebrews 10:22-25.
Peace Out,
