When God Opens a Door

When God opens a Door, He will never cause you to compromise or contradict His Word. Never!
Many times God will confirm His Will through His Word and through others, such as godly counsel.
Usually you know it’s an open door from God when you have to rely on Him completely!
Some people try to do things in the strength of the flesh, but when it’s God’s will we must ask Him to bless the work of our hands.
We must ask Him to strengthen us and help us daily.
If God doesn’t make a way, there will be no way!
Seek first God’s Kingdom!
Open doors will strengthen your prayer life and faith!
When it’s an open door, you know that it’s God who is really at work.
Once again, remember that The Holy Spirit will give you “an uneasy feeling, a warning, a red light….” if He wants you to keep a door closed.
When God opens a Door:
— Irreversible Grace
- When Christ opens the door of salvation, no power—human, demonic, or circumstantial — can bar entry (John 10:28-29).
- Open doors also picture opportunity for service and witness (1 Corinthians 16:9; Colossians 4:3).
- Believers rest securely: “For God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable” (Romans 11:29).
When God closes a Door:
— Protective Sovereignty
- Closed doors preserve the church from paths that would harm faith or divert mission (Acts 16:6-7).
- His shut doors frustrate the plans of the wicked (Job 12:14).
- Every “no” from Christ guards a greater “yes” in His redemptive design (Romans 8:28).
What this means for Daily Life:
- Confidence: approach each opportunity expecting that doors He opens will remain open until their purpose is fulfilled.
- Contentment: accept closed doors without resentment, knowing they stem from perfect wisdom.
- Courage: step through open doors promptly; delay never improves obedience.
- Perseverance: no adversary can reverse what Christ has decreed, so keep serving even under pressure.
Keep on knocking on God’s Door in Prayer!
Sometimes the Door is cracked open a bit and God just wants us to persevere in Prayer.
When the time is right, He will fully open the Door.
