Witchcraft is Real! A Testimony and Teaching (Updated)
The Fervent Prayers of the Righteous avails MUCH!
So, about five weeks ago, The LORD suddenly gave me a very strange but specific and secret assignment.
He impressed upon my heart to go and to sit and pray on the grounds of a small Church that is close to my home. (I don’t attend this particular Church, but the Church was clearly on the Heart of God!)
Since then, every single morning after my walk, I have gone to the Church and I have prayed as the Spirit of God has led me. At times I have simply prayed in Tongues, other times I have interceded, and The Spirit of The LORD has really moved through me as I have prayed.
One specific time I was led of The LORD to cry out for the Prophetic Destiny of the Church. I have lifted up the Pastor and his wife, the Congregation, and in recent days particularly one very early morning while it was raining, I was led to contend for Revival Fire to break out…
This assignment has not been casual prayer — it has been Warfare Prayer! I have been led to stand in the gap against the enemy’s schemes that seek to derail, weaken, or bind the Identity and calling of the Church!
Since then I have been crying out for the whole area where we live, that The Glory of The LORD would invade the territory, and that a fresh move of God would sweep through my local community.
But this morning, something unusual happened. As I approached the bench where I normally sit to pray every morning, I suddenly noticed a strange object on the bench which I have been praying on and I saw a tightly woven knot, (which I believe had been deliberately placed where I have been sitting and Warring).

As I looked at it, I heard The Holy Spirit say to me: “This is witchcraft!”
The LORD then revealed that there is a local witches’ coven operating in my area.
I believe that in the realm of The Spirit, it has been recognized and my prayers have been registered by the witches, that someone was “standing in the gap” and contending for this area — and for the Church.
And now, in response to what I have been carrying out in my assignment, the enemy has suddenly pushed back.
Coming from Africa, and having spent many years in African villages with Ministry, I can recognise witchcraft — and this knot was a powerful demonic relic, a satanic token, an attempt to bind up and resist what The Spirit of God is doing through The Power of Prayer.
The Knot is a witchcraft tool and this ‘resistance,’ is proof that ground is being taken for The LORD!
We know that the enemy doesn’t react unless his grip is being threatened and his hold is being dismantled.
Clearly this strategically placed object is meant to intimidate me, but in reality, it was a confirmation from Heaven that the Prayers and Intercession are shaking the atmosphere over this region and community and that it has certainly begun to unseat demonic powers at work!
Whenever the enemy exposes his hand, it means he is already losing ground!
I believe God allowed me to see this today, as confirmation that the Prayers we, as the Remnant pray, are NEVER in vain!
What witches have registered in the demonic realm, Heaven has already recorded in its Courts: Revival is being contended for in my local area and over this Nation!
Furthermore, the timing of this demonic display of the enemy seeking to intimidate and create fear is to be expected certainly after the powerful Prophetic Assignment that we carried out over the Weekend at a specific location in the South of Ireland.
BUT…. this is not the time to retreat! It is the time to intensify our Prayers like never before!
The resistance is proof that breakthrough is near!
This morning I heard a Clarion Call to the Body of Christ, “Watchmen! Intercessors!
Arise and be Alert and Sober! Watchmen, take your posts! Guard the Gateways and Blow the Trumpet!”
The Spirit of The LORD is moving powerfully in our land, and the pushbacks and resistance we will see is only a sign that His Glory is about to break forth in greater Signs Wonders and Miracles.
We Declare:
- What the enemy sought to tie up, and to put into knots, God is now bringing forth a divine unraveling and an untying of every demonic and generation curse.
- What the enemy meant to bind up, God is Now loosing in Power and Glory!
The knot placed on the bench was a demonic statement, but The Blood of Jesus speaks a better and higher word: Victory, Freedom, and Revival over the WHOLE Church of Ireland — and over every Community — North — South — East and West!
Today is a powerful Reminder:
The Kingdom suffers violence — but the Violent take it by Force!
We are Commanded to keep pressing — to Keep Watching and to Praying without ceasing!
The Foundations of this Nation is shifting! The Tide is Turning!
Ireland belongs to King Jesus and to the Kingdom of Light!

• Occult Binding Symbolism
Broadly, knots across magical traditions symbolize stored or accumulated energy meant to affect the physical or spiritual realm. Tying = storing power; untying = releasing it.
In the coasts of Devon and Cornwall, witches were said to sell the wind to sailors. They provided a white rope with three knots — each knot bound a different measure of wind, released when untied.
Historical accounts suggest that sailors untied one knot for a light breeze, two for stronger wind, and the third could summon a tempest
• The Symbolic and Mystical Function of the Knots
Each knot stored an intention or magical energy — whether it was wind, healing, curse, or protection—much like a portable spiritual mechanism.
• Tying or untying represented control over natural forces or spiritual realms .

A 1902 account describes an Orkney Island tradition where women tied knots in cloth to store winds and sold them to sailors for favorable weather — a first knot for a breeze, two for strong winds, three for gale-force storms
• Wider Folk-Magic Usage
Beyond maritime contexts, knot magic was used in healing (e.g., Hercules knot to help wounds heal faster), curses, binds, and protection spells across different cultures
Postscript — Question and Answers
Q: What was the reason you did not get rid of the Knot?
A: On this particular occasion, I was not led to touch the item.
The Spirit of God instructed me simply to pray in The Spirit and apply The Blood of Jesus over it….
- Through Strategic Prayer, I bound the power behind it and loosed the purposes of God in its place.
- I prayed for the power of God to unravel and shatter every curse, incantation, and demonic assignment that had been attached to the object.
There have been other times when The LORD led me to physically remove or destroy a cursed object. But on this occasion, His instruction was different: “Leave it where it was, and don’t touch it…”
The ways of God are not our ways; they are precise and always higher….
At this present time, I have been walking through an unusual level of personal warfare, and I discerned that God’s Wisdom prevented me from engaging in another layer of warfare and conflict that would have created a heavier burden of contending for me at this time….
After praying in The Spirit and applying The Blood, the peace of God settled in my spirit….
The Holy Spirit then confirmed that the power of the witches’ agenda had been broken, and so through Prayer and The Power of The Blood, the item was stripped of its spiritual charge, and the object was nothing more than trash — something that the Caretaker of The Church would eventually discard….
I also discerned the intent of the witches: they wanted me to touch it — as that physical contact would have granted them a point to try to find access to my life!
We cannot underestimate the power of touch! When we Touch — Divine Exchanges take place!
In scripture, both blessing and defilement were often transferred by physical contact (Mark 5:27-30, Haggai 2:13)
This is why The LORD instructed me not to engage physically with the item on this occasion…
Always move by the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding, not by simple feeling or impulse…
Our authority is in obedience to God, not in our own boldness (Romans 8:14).
We are called to Cover everything in The Blood of Jesus, as It disarms every demonic assignments and protects our spirit, soul, and body….
We must only Bind and Loose strategically, and as The LORD gives revelation and knowledge.
Binding neutralizes demonic power; loosing establishes God’s purpose in its place (Matthew 18:18).
Discern times to engage — and times to walk away!
Not every battle is yours to fight. Let God direct the warfare… (2 Chronicles 20:15)
Guard the gates of contact. Witchcraft often seeks entry through touch, gifts, words, or covenants.
Stay alert and sanctify your point of contact… (See 1 Corinthians 10:21)
Let peace be your confirmation. Once the Spirit gives peace, know the work is accomplished, even if you don’t see immediate physical results. (Philippians 4:7)
We must remember the Spiritual Realm has protocols — and Touch is powerful, and yet so is restraint!
In obedience, I walked away, knowing that the Authority of Christ had prevailed and broken its curse and power to inflict destruction….
”For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.” 2 Corinthians 10:4.
”Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19.

Veronika, would it have been appropriate to burn this not that you saw on the table? I have not had much experience with witches and the occult, though I am aware it exists, of course. I guess I don’t know how to pray regarding that here in my small town in Arizona. if you have any specific words for me regarding this, I would certainly appreciate it. I know that we have a large Native American population here and there’s things that go on here that I assume are witchcraft. I would appreciate your input. This stuff is very real.
We have even been to Virginia Beach Virginia to pray and banish a Regional principality that residing with a 35 foot statue of Neptune.. the Spirit of the Lord said when this is removed it will open up prosperity and blessing with the Atlantic trade routes and put an end to the hold on transatlantic prosperity.
We are now being led to deal with what people in WV and even the nation know of as Moth Man.. we will be traveling to Point Pleasant WV this Saturday to cast this prince Demon out of this state once and for all, the Lord has revealed this particular principality has become an occult power source and needs to be dealt with “before October”

Yes, Warfare Prayer – Amen. Clearing the way in the Heavenlies first (and people’s lives) for God’s glory to fall on that place. Truly the work of a prophet to release the atmosphere for freedom.
Ephesians 6:12: For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
We consistently deal with this as well in the natural and through the spiritual in the night hours… being anointed with Apostolic leadership within the State of West Virginia, as we have been led to goto many different places in the state to deal with regional principalities, as well as close gates and doors that have allowed the enemy access to areas in our state… One particular town my wife (a Prophet) was given an encounter where the Spirit of the Lord took her to a place where witches were chanting – from the fires of Old we demand justice and judgement in Mt. Hope”… She woke up we immediately went into prayer and the Lord said a fire took place.. we looked the history of this town up in our state of WV. And sure enough a fire has destroyed the town in the early 1900s… Then I heard the Lord say. “The local church tried to burn the salon down because the men where being tempted to drink, the fire got put of hand and burnt the whole town down… We immediately knew what we needed to do, we needed to get to Mt Hope and repent on behalf of the church and close the door that has been open almost a century that the enemy has revealed to these witches and who were demanding for God to bring judgment for….
We get to Mt Hope and head to the only building in the city that did not get burnt by the fire..
Whole pulling into the town we get pulled over by a cop.. we win that then we get to the building and in front of this building is an old town clock .. around the clock where we had been led witches had already laid protection stones thinking they could prevent the work of the Lord… We nullified the effects of those and threw them off, lifted up the brass keys we have to prophetically symbolize a closing of the doors … Fast forward 3 years later and that town where it was poverty stricken and dirty under the curse… is now prospering and cleaning up.. where there was a rekei shop now there is a Christian cafe.

Wow! I didn’t know about those knots and what they represents. This makes us aware around us and in church. We need to keep praying interceding for all.
