You Were Never in Love — You Were Under a Spell!
Many are grieving relationships that were never ordained by God.
You were influenced by lust, mistook obsession for passion and manipulation for love.
Some connections are engineered by hell. The counterfeit often runs ahead of the covenant. Jezebel, Delilah, and seductive spirits are still active.
If you do not test the spirits (1 John 4:1), you may find yourself in bondage, a victim of sex magic and love spells.
The enemy has always counterfeited covenant with enchantment. Just as Jezebel used seduction to bind Ahab, so too do spirits of lust, witchcraft, and idolatry masquerade as “soulmates.”
A few signs you were under a spell — not in love!
- You felt addicted to the person, even against your better judgment.
- You ignored red flags and warnings from God, family, or friends.
- You felt drained, sick, or plagued with strange dreams after being with them.
- You obsessively thought about them to the point of masturbation and porn.
- You gave away things (money, secrets, your body) you normally wouldn’t.
- You felt intense fear of losing them or being alone.
- Your relationship pulled you away from God instead of closer.
This was NEVER the love of God for true love builds, but sorcery drains.
It was a counterfeit covenant forged in the shadows, sealed through sex, manipulation, or even food and gifts consecrated on demonic altars.
But here is the good news: Jesus Christ Breaks the Fetters!
His blood severs every ungodly tie. His truth exposes every enchantment.
His Spirit restores your freedom. You do not have to remain bound to what was never love in the first place.
“For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.” 1 Samuel 15:23.
“For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1.
Beloved, do not mourn what God never gave. Do not call a spell “love.”
Repent of idolatry, break the ungodly tie, and return to your first love, JESUS!
Only in Him will you know covenant, safety, and the kind of love that cannot be counterfeited.
The truth must be exposed before freedom can manifest.
- REPENT– Confess where you opened doors through sex, lust, or idolatry.
- RENOUNCE – Break covenants, soul ties, and every spoken word in prayer.
- RECLAIM – Call back your soul, destiny, and virtue by the blood of Jesus.
- REPLACE– Fill the void with God’s love and truth, not another counterfeit.
Today, Declare:
I renounce every false love. I break every ungodly covenant.
I return to the arms of my true Bridegroom, Christ Jesus.
Bondage and Love
Many have confused bondage with love.
What you thought was passion, what you thought was a soul-deep connection, was in fact a web of witchcraft, lust, and manipulation.
The Bible warns us that Jezebel seduces, Delilah entices, and Balaam snares through enchantment (Revelation 2:20, Judges 16, Numbers 25).
You thought it was God writing your love story, but it was a counterfeit spirit writing your destruction.
The “chemistry” you felt was not Holy Spirit fire it was soul-tie fire fueled by spells, sexual rituals, and demonic manipulation. That man or woman didn’t “complete” you they bound you.
They pulled at your traumas, prayed on your wounds, and whispered words that acted as incantations to keep you blind.
You were never in love — you were bewitched, ensnared! Never cherished — rather chosen to be consumed…

Your words confirmed that I was married to a unbeliever.
many times a person can be deceived by the lusts of their own fleshly passions into thinking God is leading them a certain way or to calling them into relationships that are totally out of sync with His will and direction even when they pray for confirmation it sometimes happens that a word of confirmation can be dug out of some part of Gods word by the flesh if a person is determined to get what their flesh desires or go where their flesh is wanting to and then end up in a painful mess of trying to push doors open that were never the will of God to enter into . it happens all the time and causes all kinds of division accusations fights hate anger etc. I speak from experience! often it takes going thru the painful process that helps one to develop better discernment and how not to keep repeating the same pattern over and over again.
You are absolutely correct and on point. We are many times as James 1:14 says tempted by our own desires and lusts. And God may even answer us according to the idols we’ve set up in our hearts Ezekiel 14:4.

A Very Excellent word! One can even think that the warfare came because of the enemy, when in actuality it’s because of the disobedience.
Dear Lord, I pray that You will open the eyes of those who are in wrong relationships to return and connect to You their First Love, in Jesus Name.
