You Will Know Me Truly!
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
You Will Know Me Truly!
I will betroth you to Me forever;
Yes, I will betroth you to Me
In righteousness and in justice,
In lovingkindness and in compassion,
And I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness.
Then you will know the LORD.
You will know Me truly!
Not just from what you have read of long ago
Not just from what others have told
Not just by power or might—
You will see with your own sight
You will hear with your own ears
Then you will know the LORD
You will know Me truly!
You will truly walk in faith!
You will truly walk in righteousness!
You will truly walk in MY SPIRIT!
You will truly walk in MY LIGHT!
Ohhhh you will truly walk with Me!
Then you will know the LORD
You will know Me truly!
Even though you wandered away from Me
Even though you forgot me
Even though you fell in love with the world
Even though you cast My mercy aside
Even though you forgot who gave you provision
Even though you forgot who adorned you in beauty
My great compassion will still fall upon you:
“I will sow you for Myself in the land
I will also have compassion on you
Who had not obtained compassion,
And I will say to those who were not My people,
‘You are My people!’
And they will say, ‘You are my God!’”
Oh yes, you will know me truly!
For I will betroth you to Me forever;
Yes, I will betroth you to Me
In righteousness and in justice,
In lovingkindness and in compassion,
And I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness.
Then you will know the LORD.
You will know Me truly!
You will truly walk in faith!
You will truly walk in righteousness!
You will truly walk in MY SPIRIT!
You will truly walk in MY LIGHT!
Ohhhh you will truly walk with Me!
Then you will know the LORD
You will know Me truly!
Then you will know the LORD
You will, you will
You will know Me truly!
You will, you will
You will know Me truly!
I will draw you to Myself
Then you will know the LORD
You will know Me truly!

For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding,” Proverbs 2:1-6.
