2020: Clarity of Prophetic Vision
The image we assign ourselves is often not the one God has given.
We see ourselves as “grasshoppers” when contrasted with something we deem bigger, stronger, faster, richer, more powerful, meaner, braver.
The truth is, God wants you to see who He sees you as, more than a conqueror, a world overcomer, because greater is He who is in you than he who is the world.
Only His Grace can bring the real you into view.
2020 is bringing clear ability to see with perfect prophetic vision: begin now to believe what you are being shown about you; refusing any longer to believe the poor self image you have accepted.
Only by His available Grace can this happen!
From Measure to Fullness
What single attribute, above all other, transitions us from ‘measure’ to ‘fullness?’ (Ephesians 4:13)
“…..till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,” Ephesians 4:13.
The answer is simple: REST.
When our chief desire is no longer our relevance for Him, but rather our REST in Him, the transition begins.
One is inner, one is outer.
Our true rest within creates a most extraordinary relevance whose real origins begin with God in the deepest, most intimate setting available to man.
Sadly, in many cases relevance is sought without rest; hence more books are written, more appearances are made, more sermons are given.
One appearance, one book, one sermon can change the world — ONE, if it’s origins began in intimate rest.
I offer this challenge the Body of Christ (beginning with myself); less effort in proving my relevance to God, more time being in intimate rest with God.
Rest inevitably produces relevance, the God kind from which great fruit will be born!
These very paragraphs were birthed during a recent five week period of being almost completely separated from the world, work, and people — a very deep rest indeed!
