The Sovereign Move
A Sovereign is one who possess supreme or ultimate power and authority.
Jesus said of His relationship with the Father; “All power in Heaven and earth has been given to Me by My Father in Heaven.” (Matthew 28:18).
“Go, therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I AM with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Acts 4:31, Acts 18:10).
He is sovereign over the atmosphere, over the floods, over the seas, and sovereign over every Word that He sends you.
He rules over the outcomes of what He speaks for He sends forth His Word; it does not return to Him void or canceled out. It accomplishes the purpose for which He sends it forth to you. (Isaiah 55).
He leads you along the path of righteousness and empowers you to walk in the authority of His righteousness. (Psalm 23).
He transforms you by the renewing of your mind so that you can prove what is the good and acceptable, and perfect will of God. (Romans 12:1-2).
He calls you by your name so that you will recognize His voice.
“My sheep know My voice, and I AM known by My sheep.” (John 10:27-28).
He reveals His power in the midst of the storms of life. (Matthew 14: 22-23) where Jesus calls Peter out of the boat where Peter says “Lord, if that is really you, then bid me to come to you.
Jesus said “Come!” and Peter walked out to Jesus onto the stormy waves of the Sea of Galilee.
Peter began to sink when he saw the waves as he walked out to Jesus.
Peter cried out. “Lord, save me!”
Jesus lifted Peter up and said, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?”
A sovereign call allowed Peter to walk on the water
A sovereign move of God sent the Son of God to give His life so that you can have eternal life. (John 3:16).
There is no other name by which we can be saved.
Call out to Him today.
For it is at the Name of Jesus, every knee will bow, in heaven, on earth, and under the earth, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the Glory of God the Father.
Humble yourself in the presence of The LORD and He will lift you up.
His love for us is truly amazing.

Thank you, my brother, for sharing the insight the Lord has given you. When I think of a sovereign move of God, one way I think about it is the LORD doing things I did not even pray about, similar to parents doing things for their children without children asking just because they love them. Then He graciously allows me to see his hand in hindsight. Does the Spirit of God in you recognize that as one definition?
