You Asked for a Saul!
I heard The LORD a couple of nights ago, as He said something strange that I’m still praying about!
“You asked for a king — I gave you a Saul! Now you call for a David?”
Is this a secular king or is it a spiritual king?
We don’t have to look very far for secular or political kings, wolves everyone of them, who, if they disappeared, the world would seem to be better off without them!
Same with spiritual kings — there’s plenty of shepherd kings who are also wolves who are shepherding the flock to destruction!
Yet there is one message I believe The LORD would have me pass on to you today!l. . . It’s a message for both Britain and USA . . .
“You asked for a king — I gave you a Saul! Now you call for a David?” says The LORD.
The same massage for both Nations but with opposite meanings!
“What king, LORD?”
“Britain asked for, and got, a radical Prime Minister in Starmer, while the USA called for a reformer king, equally radical but in an opposite way, one who only wants the best for his country, in President Trump!”
“OK LORD, so what do you mean by ‘a David’?”
“One who will ‘save’ you from your king!
You asked for a ‘king’ of your choice.
You didn’t give Me much to work on — so I gave you a ‘king’ of My choice!
Now you complain about the ‘load’ your king placed on your shoulders and ask for a new king.
What am I supposed to do?” says The LORD.

I remember when I started praying about Presidents for the US, I asked the Lord ‘who will win the election’? He showed me Barak Obama at his desk and his face on several magazines cover. Then for the next President I asked the Lord ‘who should we vote for’ and He kept saying to me “See he’s winning”, because I couldn’t wrap my mind around President Trump at the time. Bottom line, I mused about how we Taylor our request in seeking the Lord.
