Do Not Fear the Darkness
I think many of us have forgotten that we are Warriors.
The cares of this world have caused us to lose hope in many different ways.
It could be sickness, or lack, or depression, or even age. It is the fog of war from many years of battles in this fallen world.
But Jesus has never changed. Your Father calls you a Warrior. The Holy Spirit and the Word have taught us about the Armor of God and to rely on His strength and not our own.
But we forget who we are sometimes!
This is a Call to the Warriors.
You are the GATE CRASHERS! You stand upon the Rock and the Gates of Hell shall not prevail against you!
“My Beloved Warriors,
Do not fear the darkness
I have not called you to retreat before it.
I have called you to bring My Light to destroy it.
Your Savior stood at Caesarea Philippi and declared,
“I will build My church upon the Rock, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it”
It was a call to advance and tear down the Kingdom of darkness
by the Power in you.
The enemy’s gates are not strong enough
to withstand the Spirit of the Living God.
I have not called you to hide from the darkness,
but to carry My light into it.
I have not clothed you in armor
so that you might remain behind walls.
You are My Warrior called for such a time as this.
Standing firm on My Word,
rescuing the captives,
proclaiming the gospel
and tearing down every stronghold
that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.
Where fear has built its gates, bring My Peace.
Where deception has built its walls, bring My Truth.
Where despair has imprisoned hearts, proclaim My Freedom.
The Gates that Hell built will come crashing down.
For greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
The enemy would have you believe that you are surrounded.
Yet I remind you that all authority in heaven and on earth
has been given to Christ Jesus.
Death has been conquered.
The keys belong to Him.
The serpent has been defeated,
The Son of God was manifested to destroy the works of the devil.
IT IS FINISHED.
Therefore, stand in the Strength that I supply.
Put on the whole armor of God,
Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Walk in truth, love, holiness, and courage.
Advance with humility, Dear One, but never with fear.
You are My called-out people,
My Remnant,
My Ambassadors in the earth.
Wherever My gospel is proclaimed, darkness loses ground.
Wherever My Spirit is welcomed, chains are broken.
Do not measure the battle by what you see with your eyes.
Measure it by My promises and My Word that cannot lie.
The gates of darkness cannot withstand My Children who walk in My authority, My Spirit, and My Word.
Therefore, war in the Spirit, and not the flesh.
Behold, I give you Divine Authority.
Pull down the strongholds, My Warrior!
Tear down the gates, My Gate Crasher!
“For it is not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit!”
says The LORD of Hosts!
“And every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and which is already in the world at this time. You, little children, are from God and have overcome them, because GREATER is He who is in you than he who is in the world.” 1 John:3-4.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13.
“For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4.
“I tell you also that you are a rock, and upon this Rock I will build my church; and the gates of Hades shall not withstand you.” (Translations from Aramaic) Matthew 16:18.
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down STRONGHOLDS, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.
“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might DESTROY the works of the devil.” 1 John 3:8.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for The LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6.
“For You have girded me with STRENGTH for battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.” Psalm 18:39.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of POWER and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7.
“Behold, I have given you AUTHORITY to tread on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will harm you.” Luke 10:19.
