The Wind, the Earthquake, the Fire…
The Wind, the Earthquake, the Fire… then came the Whisper.
Elijah stood upon the mountain, and the wind tore through the rocks. The earth trembled beneath him.
Fire blazed before his eyes, but The LORD was not in the Wind, nor in the Earthquake, nor in the Fire.
Then came a still small voice, and everything changed.
What Abba speaks quietly carries more Authority than what hell shouts loudly.
His Whisper can accomplish what storms cannot.
His gentle voice can restore what Earthquakes have broken.
His very breath can ignite a Fire no enemy can extinguish.
His sacred Whisper is calling you deeper.
The Whisper carries direction.
The Whisper brings peace to the troubled waters.
The Whisper is silencing fear.
The Whisper is reminding your weary heart that God has not abandoned His Purpose.
The same God who shakes mountains speaks peace over your soul right now.
The Wind may have passed.
The Earthquake may have ceased.
The Fire may have settled.
Oh but that still small voice is turning some things around for you.
Hell shall tremble, chains will break, destinies shall awaken. The beauty in your life shall arise. For the Voice of your King is drawing near.
“And after the earthquake a fire; but The LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.” 1 Kings 19:12 KJV.
In the Fire, you will listen.
In the Wind, you will discern.
In the Earthquake, you will not panic, but you will lean in closer and be moved by the still small voice that will change everything in one moment.
