A Contemplation of Adoration

You are our Abba Father.

You are the Light that shines in this world of confusion.

You are our hope when the world slams its doors in our faces.

You are our Savior when everything is destroyed.

You are the Consoler of our souls when we have been wounded by friendly fire.

You are the joy that fills our hearts, after they have been emptied of all affection.

You are the One who shelters us under His great wings of love.

You are the One who commands His angels to help us.

You are the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.

You are our only “Master Key”.

You are the True Peace that calms the storms of our hearts.

You are the Solver, the Healer, the friend par excellence.

You are the One who arrives when everyone has left us alone.

You are the One who listens.

You are the One who gives.

You are the One who loves us.

You are the One who remains when all have abandoned us.

You are the One who gave His only Begotten Son for our salvation.

You are the One who fights for us.

You are the One who waits for us.

You are the One who comes looking for us.

You are simply… our everything!

“Whom have I in heaven but You?  And I have no delight or desire on earth besides You.
My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the Rock and firm Strength of my heart and my Portion forever.
….. It is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord God and made Him my refuge, that I may tell of all Your works.”   Psalm 73:25-26;28.
