I believe The LORD is bringing a Timely Warning to those who have been entrusted with speaking to the Political Mountain for such a time as this.

We must take great care that, in confronting the very Spirits at work within Governments and Political Systems, we do not unknowingly come under the influence of those same Spirits we have been sent to Expose and Drive out!

The Enemy is an old and a treacherous foe.  Satan is subtle.  If he cannot silence a Prophetic Voice, he will seek to contaminate it.

Dangerous mixture never begins with outright deception — it begins with subtle allegiance.

For whatever we become aligned with — we will ultimately begin to sound like.

A slight leaning, a subtle personal or even Generational Preference, a specific affinity, until slowly, the Prophetic Voice begins to echo the atmosphere of the rarth more than the Counsel of Heaven.

Every Prophetic Voice must guard against coming into any form of allegiance with the kingdoms, systems, ideologies or political and religious spirits of this world.

For the moment, our allegiance shifts — even slightly — our Prophetic perspective shifts, and when our Perspective shifts, we can become tainted by mixture and end up leading many astray.

As Prophetic Voices, we are called to Discern, Expose and Confront Unrighteousness wherever it is found!

But along the Journey there are many potential pitfalls, and a great danger that our Spiritual discernment becomes entangled with personal political preferences or ideological loyalties or even partisan opinions, and make no mistake, when that happens, the source of our Prophetic Words and Revelation can begin to shift dramatically!

Instead of Speaking from the Counsel of Heaven, which is full of Love, Light and Truth, we can begin speaking from the atmosphere of the Earth Realm.

We start connecting with the voices of Second Heaven Spirits that do not align with the Wisdom and Knowledge of God.

Instead of releasing Revelation born in the Presence of God, we may at times, even unknowingly, begin to release reactions born out of frustration, offence, hatred, anger, fear or political bias.

This is where Dangerous Mixture begins!

A political spirit is not simply an interest in politics — it is any Spiritual influence that seeks to draw the Prophet away from the Mind of Christ and into allegiance with the Spirit of this Age.

It subtly persuades us that our effectiveness somehow depends upon defending a Political Party, promoting a particular ideology — or opposing another.

Before long, our Words no longer carry the Weight of the Glory of Heaven, but instead begin to carry the weight of human opinions and desires.

Remember, Satan does not need to silence a Prophet, he only needs to introduce mixture into what the Prophet is carrying.

For a Word mixed with the influence of another spirit may still contain elements of Truth, yet it will no longer carry the Weight, Purity and Governing Authority of Heaven.

Notice, the Scriptures do not simply tell us to “Test the Word”   The Scriptures tell us to “Test the spirits!”  (1 John 4)

Why?

Because God is not only concerned with WHAT is being Spoken — but also FROM WHERE — and BY WHAT SPIRIT it is being spoken!

A Word may contain elements of Truth, and yet still be influenced by the wrong spirit.

This is why the Apostle John wrote…

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but TEST THE SPIRITS whether they are of God”    1 John 4:1.

The Source matters.  The Heart Motivation matters — and the Spirit behind the Word matters!

The greatest Deception is not speaking what is false, but speaking what is factually true while being motivated by the Wrong Spirit!

Observation may inform us, but ONLY Godly, Spirit-filled Revelation born in The Secret Place gives us the Mind of Christ…

We must constantly ask ourselves,  “Am I speaking from Supernatural Revelation — or am I simply reacting from observation and releasing information from the Second Heaven?”

Friends, facts alone do not make a Word Prophetic — The Spirit of Truth does!

We must also be careful that, as Prophetic Voices called to the front-lines, we do not become emotionally entangled with the very battles and conflicts we have been sent to prophetically discern and dismantle.

Be Warned — when emotion or human reasoning begins to govern Revelation, Spiritual Discernment soon gives way to partiality, and partiality gives birth to Mixture, and Mixture ultimately opens the door to the spirit of deception and lies.

We must remember that the Prophet’s allegiance is NEVER AND CAN NEVER be to a Political Movement.

It is NEVER to the Right, nor to the Left.  It is NEVER to a particular Government or a Political Leader — or even to a Political Party.

Our Allegiance is to the Throne of God ALONE…

I am reminded of the powerful encounter between Joshua and the Commander of the Army of The LORD in Joshua 5.

Joshua asked a question that many in The Church are still asking today — “Are You for us…or for our adversaries?”

The answer from Heaven was both profound and deeply confronting, “Neither — but as Commander of the Army of The LORD I have now come!”   (Joshua 5:14)

Heaven refused to take sides.

The real issue was whether Joshua was fully Aligned with God’s Covenant Side.

I believe this is a powerful Prophetic Parallel for this Hour.

The greater question is not, “Whose Side is God on?”

The greater question is,  “Are WE fully aligned with Covenant and with the Kingdom of Heaven’s Agenda?”

For the Prophet was never called to take sides — but to ALWAYS Stand and Represent God’s Side!

We represent The Throne, The King and His Kingdom Government, and most poignantly, the Testimony of Jesus Christ in the Earth Realm….

When our Allegiance remains to The Throne, then the Prophetic Words we are entrusted to Carry and Release come with the Authority of The Throne — The King’s Seal of Approval and Heaven’s Angelic Armies to back us up!

But the moment our Allegiance shifts toward the kings and kingdoms of this world, spiritual mixture begins to taint the anointing and defile the office or gifting.

Let us never forget that The Kingdom of God cannot be limited or confined within the Platforms and Agendas of men.

Therefore, as True Prophetic Voices, we must remain FREE from every earthly Allegiance or Influence that seeks to colour, dilute, or bring a distortion to what God is saying.

If we allow political prejudice, personal preference, resentment or even what we believe to be righteous indignation to govern our hearts, we give place to the leaven of the Pharisee and Herod.

Truth spoken from a heart contaminated by another spirit loses the purity and therefore the Authority that Heaven intended it to carry.

When The Church becomes politically driven rather than Righteously Motivated, the Church quickly loses its Prophetic edge.

When Prophetic Vessels become politically aligned instead of spiritually governed, the Purity of their Prophetic Voice is contaminated.

Heaven entrusts greater Authority only to those who refuse to compromise the Purity of their Allegiance to God and His Righteous Standard.

In this Hour, I believe The LORD is searching the hearts of His Prophets.  He is purifying motives, exposing hidden loyalties, breaking ungodly allegiances and calling His Messengers back to the place where every Word proceeds from His Mouth alone.

May we never ask Heaven to come over onto our side, but rather, may we fall on our faces, as Joshua did, lay down every earthly Allegiance, and ask Heaven to bring us fully onto God’s Covenant side!

Before every Prophetic Assignment may our Prayer be:

“LORD, search my heart, expose every hidden Political or Religious bias, break every ungodly allegiance, even those that remain subconscious…

Silence in me every Personal, Political and Religious Agenda and let me speak ONLY what I hear The Spirit Saying!”

Friends, may we never allow the very Spirit we have been sent to Confront and Judge, to become the Spirit that ultimately shapes and defiles the Purity and Authenticity of our Prophetic Voices.

May our Words remain Pure.  May our hearts remain humble and clean.  May our motives always remain Holy and Righteous….

And may our Allegiance always and only ever remain to Christ Alone!

ONLY a Pure Heart can hear with Accuracy and Understanding, a Pure Word from Heaven.

And ONLY a Pure Word, Conceived and Birthed in The Secret Place, carries the Governing Authority and Power of Heaven to Shift, Transform and Reform Nations!
