Abide in Me

The LORD:My dear child, I said to abide in Me,
Bearing much fruit for all to see.
Plant My Word deep in your heart,
Let the roots of Love capture every thought.
The Child:LORD, I’ve desired to abide in You.
My intentions are sure; My love is true.
But my soul is weary and the hour is late.
Help me; strengthen me, on You I do wait.
The LORD:I will reveal Myself to those who abide
Trust in My promises; I’m turning the tide.
Though the enemy came in like a flood,
Victory is yours, certified by the Blood.
The Child:Dear Father, I’m grateful for all You’ve done.
Filling me with Your Spirit; in Christ we are One.
Help me to see, to hear, and to know,
In this hour of darkness, which way to go.
The LORD:I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Light.
I received your heart; You’re precious in My sight.
I have been training you on My own knee
To be the child of God I created you to be.
Rejoice with Me, you haven’t failed
You contended with the darkness and you prevailed.
Look up and see your promotion is at the door
As you abide in Me forevermore.
