Are the winds blowing in this world? Do they threaten the firmness of your stance? Do you find yourself fighting them?

Are the waves crashing all around you and even against you? Does fear well up within your heart as they press you ever closer to the rocky shores? Do you find your attention is drawn to them?

To be sure there will always be a measure of wind There will always be movement in the waters. Yet we are called to be still. We are called to peace even amidst the storm.

All human logic says this cannot be so and yet it is. Who stands amidst the waves? To whom does the wind dissipate with a single word?

Yes, the wind will be there. Yes, the waves will too. Yet there is another who is there as well. He promised that He would always be. So there are three constants but only one frees us from fear. Only one brings lasting peace. Only one fills us with the assurance that all is well.

Fix your eyes upon Jesus . The Author and Perfecter of your faith. Fix your eyes on Him and find that the whole world fades away. His eyes are already fixed on you.
