Are you a ‘Christian’ or a Son?

Good question….

When the term “Christian” was first used, it was pure in it’s context and it clearly identified those who were born of The Holy Spirit.

By the way, we do not know who it was that first called them “Christians”.  It may have been the Jews, the Romans, Greeks or it could be that the early disciples chose to institute the term.

However it may be, it was something that was instituted by man, and not Jesus!

The term soon began losing its purity as many false apostles and cults rose in the early Church and also continued to rise in Paul’s time.  They all used the same term, identifying as “Christians“.

Paul calls believers “SONS”, as they ought to be!  True believers who move away from the deception and clearly identify themselves as SONS of God, being those born into His Kingdom by The Holy Spirit and being led by The Holy Spirit.

Today those who are true to God in being authentic as being truly born and led of The Holy Spirit, are again turning away from associating with the religious term “Christians”…..

They want to be original and true in being SONS of God.

The Roman Catholic Church established the first traditional Church as we know it today (before then the believers met in homes and in various locations to pray and to have fellowship as The True Church).

They took over Christianity and also was responsible for the first Bible to be translated.  Later the Protestants broke away from the beliefs of the Catholics, but not from their traditions.

The Bible was translated again, first by John Wycliffe in 1378, then by William Tyndale in 1525 (whom the Catholics burned at the stakes), and later as the King James version of 1611, leaving some Old Testament books out that were originally included, as being the main difference between the King James Version and the original translation that was initially undertaken.

This translation still failed to be absolutely correct in what it translates from the original language, being translated by what the translators considered to be a logical translation, rather than a Revelatory translation.

400 years after the original King James Version was translated in 1611, failure in accuracy is even further displayed in a typical example found in John 8:32, where Truth (capital T) is erroneously translated as truth. Changing the entire dynamic of the teaching of Jesus.

“And ye shall know the Trueth, and the Trueth shall make you free,”   vs 8:32 KJV of 1611.

“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”  vs 8:32 NJKV of 1982.

This simply emphasizes why we are called to be taught by The Holy Spirit, Who is sent to lead us in all Truth!

The protestant movement built their own religious buildings, modeled after the Catholic tradition and kept the form of Church going.  From that form, all religious “Churches” we see today, Pentecostal and (all others), are modeled after in how they worship and gather.

Christianity became about no more than “believing in Jesus“, the “repenting of sin” and following the commandments recorded in the Bible.

Preaching would be from the “Bible“, whereas it previously was The Holy Spirit Who preached through anointed men being moved by His Inspiration.

Christianity for the better part today, is no different to any other religion.  Just as you would follow the rituals and beliefs of Judaism or Islam, to become a part of their religion, people today “convert to Christianity“.

The authentic experience of being born of The Holy Spirit is claimed by Christian institutions and their religious leaders, because of their “confessions of faith” in Jesus and the acceptance of Jesus by their converts.  It is all form and ritual, without Power and real experience in transformation.

Paul stepped away from this death trap in his time, and preached The Living Christ to be experienced in A Living Encounter through The Power of The Holy Spirit transforming his hearers.

So should we today do the same.

We are not “saved” converts — we are New Creations.  We are SONS OF GOD!
