Reap Rewards
“But you, who are devoted to being with God and searching for God, be strong and do not lose courage because your actions will reap rewards,” 2 Chronicles 15:7 Voice.
“… Without faith no one can please God because the one coming to God must believe He exists, and He rewards those who come seeking.” Hebrews 11:6 Voice.
Dear Ones: Reap Rewards!
Yes, that is what these verses reveal to us. If we search for God with faithful devotion and do not faint when delay comes, then we shall reap rewards.
But we do not allow the receiving of rewards to overshadow our seeking in faith the One Who is our greatest Reward: King Jesus.
The God-given rewards indicated in these verses are not necessarily financial.
They can be, but The LORD wants to give us the desires of our hearts in every area of our lives.
David sings in Psalm 21,
“For you have given him his heart’s desire, everything he asks you for!” Psalm 21:2 TLB,
David was known for his devotion to The LORD God.
When God corrected him, he quickly responded with sincere repentance.
He knew that his intimacy with God was more precious than silver and gold.
David was after the rewards found in the secret place residing under the shadow of God’s wings.
Declare:
“Like David I desire to reap rewards that are only found in the secret place of intimacy with my King.
You said that You would give me the desires of my heart, therefore, I am asking, seeking, and knocking.
In Faith, I believe You hear me where I am now and will reward me for my devotion to You.
You alone are my God, my Savior, and my King.
Thank You for rewarding me, my family, and my nation — because You are Good!”
Have a blessed and rewarding day in Jesus’ Mame!
