Attending a Revival
A Revival is not a place where people who have been Baptized, Spirit-filled, and have an established relationship (with The LORD should go to.
The word “Revival” comes from the root word “revive”, meaning; ‘to restore to life or consciousness.’
In other words, you’re either dead or on your way there…
So how is it that “Christians” are flocking to a revival?
Revivals aren’t kum-ba-yah field trips to run to. They are meant for the spiritually dying or dead.
We have an entire generation of kids (now adults) who have been misled by bad parenting, a lack of discipline, and a corrupted government.
They are battling with depression, perversion, identity, addiction, godlessness, and confusion.
So let the Revival be for them!
They don’t need anyone to “report” what’s going on.
Why are Christians so caught up in recording, streaming, and reporting stuff?
This is how Satan comes in with counterfeits.
If anything, we need to PRAY (intercede, fast) that this group of young adults do not end up as seeds sown by the wayside, nor sown into thorny/ rocky soil (Matthew 13:1-23).
Satan’s desire is to sift as wheat. What this group will eventually need is proper leadership, because you cannot make it to Heaven on a feeling, song, or simply Worship, and it will not prepare one for the season of persecution is that upon us.
This was the error of many “Revivals” in the past, and the result of it is where we currently stand as a [western] church, and the condition of it today.

When I was a child, churches used revivals in hopes that people would come to their church regularly. It wasn’t stated but I overheard stuff. And it didn’t feel right to be used like that. I don’t see it so much anymore but I suspect inviting popular guest speakers serve the same purpose. Jesus said that HE would draw all men to Him, not loud music or revivals or the latest program that worked great for someone else.
