A mind submitted to Christ matures in understanding of eternal matters. The more time & energy devoted to these things the greater the eternal treasure laid up.

While I may be capable of forgiving a hundred or even a thousand times, God’s forgiveness knows no bounds.

We value most those things which we have earned through hard work and the sweat of our brows.  Those things which are given to us at no cost are devalued.

We have no hope of receiving life through self effort.  We cannot perfectly adhere to the law code.

Only God’s word is eternal. Only HE remains. Unlike the passing fads that come with this information age, it is firm and unchanging. It is solid and unyielding. 

Right perspective – the heavens and the earth (and all their contents) are passing away yet the God who is the Creator of it all shall remain.
